Going back to the Everton game. Probably on paper there wasn’t much between the teams (however they have a better keeper for sure). The first difference was that Everton really wanted it. Really wanted it. And the second was the managers. Dyche got it right, sadly for us Cooper got it wrong. That’s NOT having a go at Cooper- after all he’s only really had a season and a half with us in the top flight against a seasoned premiership manager who knows how to get the best out of what he has. Disappointing but not surprising. If anything I had Everton to win by a couple more goals. We really are that poor at present. The players need to step up and want it. Really want it.
