Comedy: I love to laugh, and on this site stokey keeps coming up with the goods. Some comics who make me laugh know, Lee Mack, Mick Flanagan, Peter Kay.
There's been some posts about age, I grew up watching the comedians, my favourites who made tears coming down my cheeks, Jimmy Cricket, Norman Collier. He had two skits, walk on stage with a car door and the Mic!. And Stan Boardman, we had cancel culture then, he was on the Des O ' Conner show and telled the Focker joke, never to be seen on T. V for years. Yet Ben Elton shouting Newspaper headlines out with f's and b's was O. K.
I know comedy evolves, me Mam and Dad laughed at Arthur Askey, I just thought "What's going on". But the modern comedians just don't make me laugh, they should be brave, but say the wrong thing and you can be finished over night. It's such a shame for comedy!.

They Don make me laugh either mate. Bob Monkhouse was a genius. so was Eric Morecambe.
