Ok, we weren't firing on all cylinders last night but some of the doom and gloom on here is unduly pessimistic I think. If I could refer you to my post yesterday I did forecast this would be a difficult game particularly if Burnley scored first and coped with our early attacks which they did.
Also, that Burnley would be well organised and hard to break down which they were.
A few players made their debuts last night and though CHO looked class others need time to get bedded in.
Yates was a big miss and I believe once the better ball playing centre backs come back in, the Felipes, the Murillos, the Niakhates etc we should be more on the front foot and less ponderous in transition.
Satisfied with a point and having seen Burnley at first hand for the first time I believe many teams will come away with nowt. They will be relegation candidates but their lack of depth of squad will hurt them long term. I think Kompany will keep them up with a bit of backing in the next window.
Next up Man City which is a free hit.
After that, onwards and upwards hopefully.

I’d have taken 6pts from our first 6 games and we have 7 from 5 I’m more than happy so far
Considering we will have had 4 away games and only 2 home games in those 6 and we have played 4 of the probable top 6 sides AWAY
Great work Cooper and the lads keep it up
Ps. Burnley will upset a few sides this season they look a decent young side with an excellent coach.
