A few thoughts.
Firstly, Niakhate will become a fine centre back if he continues to play alongside our Champions League warhorse the superb Felipe as I posted a few weeks ago.
Secondly on the subject of Coopers contentious substitutions. the Lodi Toffolo swap was sensible as Toffolo on a yellow, up against a tricky winger imbued with Wolves cheating diving ethos who would have precipitated a red, plus he wasn't match fit for the whole 90 minutes.
Kouyate for Mangala sensible because both were short of game time.
Lastly, Worrall for Dennis, a reasonable gamble to match Wolves subswhich didn't come off. Just bad luck really. Personally I'd have brough fresh legs on like for like, Anoniyi for Dennis but earlier and Colback for Danilo, again earlier, to screen the back four. But, Cooper would have had stats and professional expertise to lead him to make these decisions which we armchair managers don't have. Sometimes it just doesn't work out. As Napoleon said he'd rather have a lucky General than a good one.
Lastly, Redjester thanks for your vote mate but after 30 years in the Police don't you think as far as confrontation and conflict is concerned, don't you think I've suffered enough? Like Sean Locke I'm joining Mumsnet in my alter ego Daphne because it's a warm and fuzzy! ???????.
