Just a few post match thoughts comrades.
Firstly, a trip down memory Lane for me because the last time I went there was in the days of Alan Gilzean and Martin Chivers. They outplayed us that day too! I didn't even recognise the district never mind the new ground.
Secondly, still don't understand how Freuler and Lingard get a start and Surridge not even in the squad? People are saying Freuler was trying to swap shirts with a Spurs players when he was subbed? Is this true? I didn't see it. If so at 3 nil down and still half an hour to go he should never play again.
Thirdly we got ( and deserved) nothing. A poor performance until it was too late.
Fourthly, the injury curse strikes again. We get Niakhate and Yates back but lose Johnno, Wood and Hennessy ( although not too fussed about the latter two to be brutally honest. ) If Johnnos out for any length of time it's a grevious blow to our survival hopes.
Five, I still think we'll survive. I think it will be Southampton, Bournemouth and Palace to go down. Dyche will save Everton.
Lastly, Gary Lineker has said the recent cold weather was very like Stalingrad 1943 to 1944!
Coyr! We need to Nick a cheeky point or 3 on Friday, like Bournemouth did against Liverpool this weekend. Who could imagine they'd beat the team that beat them 8 nil or that Salah would miss a penalty.
