We've changed our way of play to accommodate Wood but I'm not sure how he fits in. Is he a focal point? A bruising centre forward? Someone to hold the ball up and bring others into play or to get on the end of crosses and score headers? A fox in the box? Or none of these! For me, all he's done in his so far appearances is score a tap in. Eeyore is even worse and i cringe when he comes on, he couldn't finish his supper. These pair are past it where the Prem is concerned and I'd rather give Surridge a chance who can do all that Wood and Ayew can't and is a natural finisher. I liked the front three of Scarpa, MGW and Johnno who gave us pace, creativity and goals, let the opposition worry about us a bit instead of parking the bus and trying to hit teams on the break all the time. I know that we have to have defence minded midfielders to protect the back four as our two current centre backs probably wouldn't be the first choice pairing to start games. Would you put Hendo back in when fit or stick with Navas? I personally prefer Henderson. And i reckon Freuler needs some bench time, not sure what he was doing for Everton's 2nd goal other than ball watching and chasing shadows.

Whoever you put up front in place of Wood needs to be given a run there not just half a game now and again he has been given a long run and achieved nothing his goal a great goal badly needed was coming on near the end of a match maybe that's the best way to use him after someone like Surrage has softened up their defense . I also think the 2 Brazilians should be made available on the bench at least they will give us pace in the middle when ñeeded.

Also if Moussa Niakhate is back this week or next who do you put him with worral or Fillipe or do you play 3 at the back I would try a back 3 at sometime I think Fillipe would be the man to take the centre roll just a few things to think about while I was having my Jam sandwich.

Worrall can't play as a wide centre-half at this level, he's not mobile enough.
