Balloons mate its not the old concentrate on the league cobblers, it's true hence the team selection today. Forests priority is staying up whether it be for the fans, for the city, or just because financially it could cripple us. OK we want good cup runs, Cooper and the team do last season we put out good teams against Arsenal and Liverpool because we were a championship team. This season priorities change because we are premier league team and don't quite have the luxury of a decent second team experienced enough to deal with the mentality of playing against lower league teams.
Yes it was poor and we should have had a hatful and there is no excuses to getting beat 4 0 by Blackpool. Think it shows some players who don't play regular or who played more earlier invtge season just haven't got the mettle to deal with it. Its OK having qualities with a football but the biggest quality is tough mental strength and some showed today they haven't got that. To be an impact sub you got to be ready whether it's 10 minutes every now and then or half a dozen games due to an injury. Classic examples are Worrall our Captain, dropped but kept going, believing, working hard now back in the team. Aurier, Boly both didn't start well in and out of the team but showed the right attitude and the last few games have done alright. OK not world beaters but done OK.

Cloughie would of never put a crap team out for a cup of any sort disgrace so when we play wolves in the quarter final of the cup we shouldn't get excited cup means nothing the team and manager might as well stay at home what a load of crap winning breeds confidence useless today in every department including managers department.

Cooper said that team he put out should have beaten blackpool with the experiance they had it was woeful but imo makes it a lot easier for him from now on to see who he can rely on and it wasnt that shower.

Skeggy Jay think it highlights the fact when you spend the sort of money we did your second team should get a result. With the easy chances we had should have won, some of them didn't take the chance, weren't mentally strong enough so showed they can't be relied on. Of course nothings a given in football games otherwise what's the point in the other team turning up. But 4 0 highlights they not good enough to play for us barring 1 or 2 of them.

Man utd paid 80 million for Anthony, one player so our expenditure is a pittance in the premier
Takes a few seasons but we are on the right road.
