I’m not too bothered if they are older players and are a bit slower, the ball can move faster than anyone can run and if they are intelligent players and we play in a positive manner we will improve and be more entertaining.

We need more experienced players if we want to get promoted. Can’t rely on young players to get us up.

Pace isn’t necessary there are plenty of teams who are successful and don’t play at pace. If you can open up the game without having to play quickly then that’s safer than all rushing forward and being done in the counter counter. Slow and steady wins the race. The season isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon and playing at a slower pace might play into our hands. Plus let’s be realistic, we have Mighten who is quick, ameobi is quick, if it’s to believed Murphy is quick, grabs and lolley aren’t particularly slow so what do you have? Decent speed in attack if necessary, and intelligent players for when the break isn’t on.
