Well if the arsenal players are moaning about a double touch penalty I think that just proves don't underestimate so called lower league teams because what I saw today is a few experienced players out classed by a decent young side so do one wenger and company and a massive massive well done to everyone connected with our beloved Nottingham Forest today on and off the pitch COYR.

Arguably our best player so far this season Keiran Dowell will be off back to Everton in May so can someone please tell how this is progress.
I think off the field it's 100% better, but arguments will occur on here but dowell is superb for us i'm sure Everton will be eternally grateful for is progress, but unless I'm completely stupid which I'm not wheres the progress for us? Keiran will go back to a new contract and fair play to the lad he's top draw but we'll be back to square one to me that isn't progress 😆😆.

This is the age old argument against loaning young players from big club. If you develop your own player then even if you sell them it is your own club that gets the money. If you pay for a loan player then you lose money and the parent club get the cash or a better player.

Johnny66, Dowell has been very good but I don't think he has been our best player. He scores some great goals but lacks the physical ability we require in the championship.
Not great on Tuesday and backed out of challenges.
I totally agree with what you are saying and, yes, off field we are a much better place but we are in the championship and need to be physical. Ken Warbo and his diddy men philosophy means we would have to be excellent for 90 minutes which they have rarely been.
We need some scrappers and battlers in the mix but the MW philosophy is pretty fast paced and quick passes so your are spot on, very little progress has been made.

Totally agree it's a very hard physical league people harp on about passing game me personally I'd rather get 3 points every week or at least scrap for a draw someone mentioned joey Barton type and tbh there right I went to Bristol City aden flint jesus he's a monster but it's that type of physical present required plus a settled side would be a bonus

I feel sorry for Clough though, he did pretty well end of last season after we bought him and scored and assisted in some big goals and moments which kept us up then this season he has barely played and certainly hasn’t had a run in the team due to Dowells excellent form but maybe if he had played more he would have been better!?

Dowell is very talented but I can't help thinking that we don't play two up front because we have to accommodate him. Sometimes you need to take out a good player to benefit the team.

I was against sacking Warburton but really has shown the last two games that his stubbornness to play certain players (Lichij/Cash) and in best positions (Brereton/Traoure/Cash) plus his unwillingness to sometimes just go back to basics and clear Long balls and play over the top was his undoing. Brazil has only made small subtle changes in the last two games but players look more comfortable and solid now. Today was definitely a good advert for the potential we have as a Club to any potential managers!

One thing is for sure notts county have a very very good manager plus grant was excellent today againest a decent championship side today maybe it's time to play our own players and not keep them away from the 1st team picture for the sake of other teams loan players and before I get slated I do rate Keiran Dowell who's been superb this season, just like to see our own talent players 1st in line ie Zach Clough Jorge Grant etc

Notts fans I know are more impressed with Yeats saying he's a great team player and 100% good at breaking up play.

Not a surprise, he's basically just retired a German international I'm sure he'll be linked with a few teams hopefully we'll keep hold of him he's potentially a top draw striker. I'm pretty sure karanka will want to keep hols of all our young up and coming players

Put things in perspective, people saying Gary Brazil had 2 games. we drew with a side that's lost 3 out of its last 4 games including Newport County and we beat Arsenal reserves which was a fantastic day for us all, but get real.
