i hope they can sort the pitches out next year. some were awful and the city ground pitch wasnt great either. then it would be about getting an attacking midfielder that can pick a pass to the strikers. and someone tell ryan yates to pass the ball forward . you might be a DM but that doesn't mean you keep passig it sideways and back you div.

simple answer to our issue is a creative midfielder who can pick a forward pass with runners in behind, we don't do enough forward quick passes and get caught out too easily, watch man city always looking to pass forward, this sideways and backwards passing does nothing other than offer the other team time to get back into shape, quick passing whilst players are out of position offers te best place to cut open a defence. PLUS! ryan yates for all his efforts he doesn't have the finish or the vision to split open any defence, useless having him there because he doesn't add any threat to the side.

Hopefully, Freeman will have a big impact as a creative attacking midfielder. Clearly, playing with a hernia is going to restrict both his training, fitness and on field performances. The op may well improve Freeman s contribution considerably.

We don’t have enough information to come to the conclusion that we signed an injured player. I suspect many pros “ carry†injuries which can be managed. Back in the day some players hardly trained at all (McGrath at Man Utd for example ) but just turned out on match day when they were brilliant . Probably too many matches for that to happen how injuries can worsen requiring ops like Freeman’s to sort it out (hopefully) once and for all. Suspect sane for Grabbans and Lolleys.

He is a free agent for very good reasons.

i think we are not far off from having a team that clicks . CH is fine tuning the machine. we have to remember where Brentford were last season and look where they almost ended up . difference is now we have the squad size to cope!

yates has no end product! you cannot stay in the team just because you put in a massive effort. if that's the case i should be playing for England at everything. we need one sweeper in the midfield and at least 2 attacking mids not two def mid.

should be a back three CB with wing backs something like a 5-3-1-1 formation that can turn into a 532 with wing backs pushing on!
