Morning fellow posters, been asking on here for a while now if old Dreamteam dared to dream this season but I'm afraid to say that the dream is seriously under threat again, I hear you say don't be stupid, old man, BUT, as I've said on quite a few posts, looking at the league positions again today, how many of the top six have we actually beaten, answer, with two of them still to play, is one, Huddersfield, if that trend continues and we loose to Fulham and Bournemouth that's your two games in hand gone, if we drop points to WBA, who are on a good run there could be a huge turn around of points and a real sticky bum time for Forest, hope its just me looking on the dark side but I'm afraid my dreams are being put back into the draw and the draw half closed. Sorry lads know
you won't want to here the things I've just written, just the thoughts of an old git who's been there and seen it all before,
But I could be totally wrong. U REDS.

The Luton game would have been a wake up call to the players, i do though agree with Cooper who said he thought decisions that went against us would probably have decided differently had it been Luton in our position.

Crikey, we won 5 on the bounce, unbeaten in 8 I think, we lose one game and it's press the panic button time, same old fans on here (not everyone mind, just the moany ones) .

Yesterday was a narrow loss and we deserved at least a draw, we started poorly but the time they got a dubious penalty we were already back on top in the match and in control.

Yes, we have some tough games coming up but we have put ourselves in this great position because we have been playing fantastic as a team, that's not changed. I think other teams will be more worried about us to be honest.

BTW, Samba made some great saves yesterday and you know he had a good game as the normal Samba knockers didn't even mention him, it was Grabban's turn yesterday, he was unlucky not to score early on from some great build up play.

Looking forward to tomorrow nights match, come one Forest!

Great Post gingerkid and I'm looking forward to it as well
Think there is some feeling amongst some that Cooper will do a lamouchi, that won't happen.

Dreamteam one defeat in 10 doesn't make us a side on the slide, knowing what where like we probably won't lose another game now this season, I can see us getting the win tomorrow with a full city ground cheering on the lads.
Think everything went against us in the Luton match and we're bound to have the odd games like that, but like 79 says we're not sinking and we're not doomed i'm telling thi so no need to panic mr man wearing. don't panic' don't panic.

Good grief, I know I can be negative but only when hughton / lamouchi style performances . Forest didn’t lose the game on Friday the outcome was determined by poor officiated . Do I think we will get promoted? No I don’t and I’ve said it for weeks but Friday’s result isn’t the barometer of where we - far from it in my view .

Samba deserved being moaned about when he got sent off however as good as Samba has done Horvath was unlucky not to get his place back, what is wrong in saying that.

2star it was not poor officials, come on, in the blink of an eye that handball decision was a tough call for the ref and linesman. As for our offside goal the reason given was they made a mistake and the defender touch was not visible in real time, only highlighted minutes later by the studio tv. Samba made 2 good saves their keeper 1. Zinc hit the post so I think it was a balanced game with very differing styles. We simply did not do enough. In hindsight if a change was going to be made Cafu for zinc would have made sense against the hustle of Luton. But you know what cooper did. God knows why…

All interesting posts and comments but I’m not inclined to press the panic button just because we lost our first game in ten mainly because of poor officiating.
I am, however, worried about our injury situation with key players missing ( Lowe, McKenna, Davis and Cook) and the fact that we have only 2 games out of remaining 6 at home and our 2 games in hand are away against the top two.
However it is what it is. So step up Sturridge, Panzo, Mbe Soh, Mighten etc here’s your chance lads. Plus being away from home against teams obliged to have a go at us might suit out counter attacking style.
In Cooper we trust. Remember we were bottom after 7 games so to be even daring to look at automatics is a real bonus imo.
This is an unpredictable League. At least it was a fellow top 6 side we unluckily lost to, unlike Fulham at Derby, Sheff Utd home v Reading, Blackburn v Peterborough. Still all to play for so COYR!
