If we carry on at this same rate, that's 36pts from 31 games with 15 games left we should get 18pts. Making a total of 54pts so being 50pts is normally just about safety we might stave of relegation, but as we know it does always work that way. Here's hoping.

You never know its a tight league this season, in 2012/ 2013 it was very similar when Peterborough and Wolves went down with 54 and 51 points respectively with the Posh only 14 points behind 6th place but if it is going to be similar then there's also an outside chance of top 6.🤞.

2.) 21 Feb 2021 14:36:09
Top six? You can’t be serious surely? Fair play if you still think it’s possible but I still believe we’re in the relegation mix personally .

3.) 21 Feb 2021 16:19:57
What I'm saying 2star is there were only 14 points separating 16 teams and this season is looking very similar, season 2012/ 2013 saw Leicester on 68 points in the play offs meaning that we would need 32 points from a possible 45 wining around 10 of our remaining matches would see us close but as you say on the other hand if we only win 5 of our remaining matches then its squeaky bum time, the stand out certainty this season is that the predictable is unpredictable if you know what I mean Jeff 🤔🤔🤔.

4.) 21 Feb 2021 17:14:51
Fear not, all, it's midtable obscurity til Summer 👍.

5.) 21 Feb 2021 18:17:36
I see your point more referring to the small gap between the top and bottom . It’s been at its random best this season .

6.) 21 Feb 2021 19:37:09
If you go on a winning run like McCarthy at cardiff, who I've said will get into the top six, then its there to go for but draws won't be enough.
I think Bournemouth and reading will drop put of the top six anyway, looks like boro have overcome their bad spell and cardiff are just unstoppable with stoke a dangerforget the rest.

This afternoon just took my wife to get her vax for c.v. at Gamston. Very close to the vac center there is a small kids swing park, which had about 18 kids enjoying themselves. Some parents cars were were parked very close by.

Next to them was a police car with all its lights flashing . Wonder if these parents who are not isolating have come from Glasgow or Bristol . On the way back I noticed some had gone. Well done the police, your friendly local bobby.
Good luck tonight lads.

Dear Ed, it is with sadness that I have received an email from my long time friends wife that she is contacting the PFA, FA and ELF about the lack of responsibility they are showing towards players who have Alzheimer's.
She is rightly bringing this to the attention of the powers that be for their lack of duty of care for players in later life .
Sports programs are grasping this and challenging football, hopefully pointing out their responsibility to players. Over 300 past professionals have fallen victim to it, and how many silent victims their are heaven knows . I bring this to this sites attention that if any using this site who has knowledge and can use it to contact the football bodies.
Thank you in anticipation of reading this and for any action you may take.
Since1951.

Hi 51- good luck and hopefully you get some answers.
I’m really not sure about all this as there must be links to rugby, boxing etc and they haven’t really been able to find out much about non sports men/ women who suffer from the same challenge. I’ve lost grand parents and parents to this and any research is great but I feel quite sad that it only seems to get press coverage when high profile ex footballers suffer, 300 players is a tiny figure compared to the total population but keep us updated 👍.

Well said mate.

2 tone great post.
Its a disease all too common lost my dad mother in law and my partners mumm and dad to it recently.
Awful desease that affects us mentally as well as them.
You go and see them and play bingo and sing along when its only you that actually understands.
Always found the staff brilliant at homes and take my hat off to them and they deserve far more than they get paid.
It does bring you down to earth when visiting and all you can do is join in play along and sing along.
You lose the person mentally but you still love them, best way is to join in and try and interact with those in their new environment as hard as it is.

My friend is a past England captain played 65 times for our country. He has a forthright wife who on her day makes Anne Robinson look tame . But unfortunately the powers that be have other priorities.
It would be good if clubs got together and put on a United front against the bodies.

Been busy for a while, just reporting in . Hope every ones ok and keeping away from this virus . At last some confidence and belief showing itself, looking forward to appraising our situation come christmas. Knocking on the door in the top half of the table near to top six I hope.

{Ed033's Note - Where is it? Does it only appear after 10pm on non essential items, in non essential shops? That damned elusive pimpernel-virus.

Glad you’re good mate, just thinking back that it didn’t seem long ago that you overcame a worrying time with your health so it’s always good to know people are well. I have to say mate you’ve missed some of the most positive few weeks I’ve ever known on this board in spite of how rubbish we’ve been. It’s really surprised me to be honest, if you’re thinking of moaning you might need to do that somewhere else, it’s great to have you back though so hopefully you can come here when you be happy and nip off somewhere else if you want a moan.

2.) 09 Nov 2020 09:28:49
Oh ed, you are naughty, but I like you.

{Ed033's Note - I don't know what's going on in other people's heads, but isn't it coming out now that the test is useless. The lockdown has nothing to do with number of deaths, but rising useless test numbers because more people are getting the useless test.

3.) 09 Nov 2020 11:28:06
I think the oldies like me etc., I'm 74, should just keep your distance and stay secure. The younger folk should carry on being normal but just be aware to be careful.

It's all to do with the politics of the club, I don't mean westminster. It's just as important that the behind the scenes tactics are running smoothly, which clearly they are not.
In the league we have not been overrun mostly beaten by the odd goal . At the end of the day goal diff might be important. What a state of affairs we are in, I just like redfrog did exactly that two and a half years ago, my blood pressure can't take it.

I take all your quotes with a pinch of salt, knowing that it's only a wind up. I am sure That the club is making all the right decisions, and buying the best players . I Am waiting for the first of next month for an update.

Good comments from Rotherham manager Paul Warne about us. CH has improved us no end, we are becoming difficult to beat. Let's hope it continues especially this weekend.
