I get that Nuno got us 7th place last season but why take that out on Ange? It's nothing to do with him. Guy gets 6 games and we are on his back! Baffled by it. Yes it's not a great start but everything has changed including a load of new players. Don't forget we only won 2 out of our last 8 games last season under Nuno and he was in charge when we lost 3-0 at home to West Ham this season. In the end he embarrassed us with his actions and interviews to get himself sacked and a large payout 3 months after signing a new lucrative contract. Also look at the stats from West Ham today. They may as well not have bothered being there as they didn't play any football.
Don't get me wrong I don't think Ange would have been my 1st choice but he is our manager and wants to progress us. I for one will not be asking for him to be sacked after 6 games a few of which could easily have gone our way. Remember we have over achieved recently and keep calm. You don't have to back Ange but at least let's not create a negative atmosphere at the ground and be the reason the players have an excuse to play badly and take zero responsibility for it. They are good premier league players but are human too and will take time to get used to new routines and coaches and training etc. Just trust our owner. If it doesn't improve then fair enough he will be gone and it's next up but let's not accelerate that. Let's be positive at least for a bit longer.

Today was awful. Simple as that. Everyone switched off. They are all adults so are responsible for their own performance and attitudes but the Nuno thing is there and hasn't gone away.
Don't get me wrong I appreciate what he has done for us but I am seeing another side to him.
Obviously has issues with owner and Edu. He has single handedly created fires in the press in our 1st 2 games for seemingly no reason what so ever. I mean you're an adult and an experienced manager. Deal with it behind the scenes!
He came to us from Saudi did he not? Seems to me he went there for cash rather than the "prestige" of playing in that great competition. I really think he is trying to get a pay off because he has been tapped up by another Saudi club or something like that. Why else would you do what he is doing. Then he gives a pitiful post match interview today. He is shameful or unwell!

MGW really surprised me. All last season he goes on about how happy he is to be at Forest, the team spirit is amazing etc etc etc. All the rubbish we expect these now media trained "sports personalities" to produce. Now either he didn't mean any of it and Nuno has been mistaken about this guy having made him captain or his agent is pulling all the strings. In which case more fool him for letting himself let someone else dictate which way his career goes. Sad to see. You have a contract and the details have been leaked by yourself or your agent. Show some class, get your agent to do what you want rather than the other way around. Bitter taste in the mouth but we move on and forget him soon enough.

It doesn't leave a bitter taste to me, it's part of the game now and managers sign contracts to but still get sacked, it's always been the same just more money involved now.

When players kiss the badge and say how much they love the club they are at it should be taken with a big pinch of salt. It generally means nothing. Yates is the captain. Gibbs-White was vice captain.

Thought of the day. Wood has been excellent this season but unlikely to be able to repeat season after season. We are not going to be able to shell out £90m plus for a world class striker which we will need to match what Wood has done this season and cope in Europe. We need to pull a rabbit out of the hat again this summer. If Ipswich go down do we take a chance and get in early in the transfer window for Delap?

We don't have a problem in the summer. with paying out for a striker the problem we have as in the past is attracting big players to us. European football will help us with that. but still a long way to go to get European football tough games coming up and even though results went out way a big pack chasing us with bigger and better squads just need to keep our best players injury free.

This is almost the opposite of what we expect from "player power". Our player seem to love Steve and along with us fans are keeping him in a job. But let's face it who doesn't love him you can't help yourself! You can't help but like the fella and I'm sure it's a pleasure to train under him everyday. However either the players aren't getting the message, aren't good enough or the message is wrong. Maybe it is time for a change of ideas as this isn't working. There hasn't been any evolution so what do we do, keep hammering away and hope it changes or do something about it. As long as the right person is free I'm sad to say it's time for a change.

Well it certainly is time for the players to stand up and be counted bse but some of them are doing. I'm thinking of Williams, Toffolo Yates and others but I don't agree that this is not the time for managerial change. Cooper has put in a shift but his time is up. he has to go. The club has to do what is necessary to avoid relegation at sll costs and a change of approach is required. For too long Cooper has hidden behind this' utilizong the players available' approach which implies to me that he has barely been involved in recruitment and justifies his work by simply working with what he is given, in ter. s of players. That doesn't wash and the club is nowin trouble again. Recruitment has been chaotic and sub-standard players have been brought in. Marinakis should do the right thing for his club and fo it now. The present situation is becming increasingly dangerous and change is required. In the immediate future.

It is a difficult question to answer. I don't want us to go hell for leather up the pitch either. We do well though when we snap at the heels. It fine to sit and defend and I see the benefit of it to keep us in the game. I think we just do too much of it. We haven't got world class defenders so we tend to get battered even when we defend.

30 premier league games and nothing has changed. I don't expect us to be Man City. Having the possession is no guarantee for a win but at least it stops the opposition thinking these lads are here for the taking. Stand up, chests out and fight for the ball when you lose it. It's a game at the end of the day. 11 against 11 and we should be showing more than what we have.

I do think he needs to go yes. I just hope we then appointment someone who fits in with Dane Murphy and his philosophy (hopefully then signings made are wanted by the manager and he can use them in the right system) . If we do then that person has to be given 3 transfer windows to shape the squad unless we fear relegation. I think our problem over the last few years has been some bad manager and player recruitment decisions yes but also just a complete mismatch between DOF/ CEO and the manager. Which for a business the size of our club is a massive error.
