Just as a marker, the lowest number of points in Premier League 17th survival place is 32. West Brom I think in 2005. The highest points total and still to be relegated is 42. Can't remember, was it Sunderland?

Hi stokey, yep been looking too. Even though there were some odd results yesterday we still managed to stay in 13th and are still 5 points clear of 18th. Our form is far better than the teams below us and we still have plenty of home games to get the points (and a couple of away games to get a draw or two) . I reckon another 9/ 10 points should be enough, that would mean Southampton, leeds and WH getting 5 wins from their last 15 games. That's all they've got so far from 23.

Saying all that I think we'll be safe well before the last weekend. A point at WH and 3 at home to Everton will take us to 29. I think we'll finish with about 40 points.
