Been thinking about this today. Things don't seem to have changed much over the past few months but what has changed is the optimism around the club. I was a fan of Cooper, I think he did a really good job with all the changes and what he did really well was to keep the team positive. After every loss it was "we look forwards", "next man up", " we go again". Now it's "it was a definite red card", "we should have had a penalty". The positivity has gone. Whether this is down to the change in manager, the players that have left (Mangala, Worral, Johnson. ) or the situation we are in with the potential points deduction I don't know, probably a bit of all. What needs to change is the mindset and getting the team to look forwards again. Until then they will only be looking back and thinking about what might have been instead of thinking about what they can still change.

Well said French - I totally agree. If we do end up going back to Championship football I would like us to go down with at least some fight and not be remembered as the 'whingers'.

I posted yesterday about the soul of the club we know having disappeared recently. Of course clubs evolve particularly in the Prem, but we see now assorted loanees, here today gone tomorrow players, some retiring in a couple of months, others who might never get a game. For me a successful team needs a regular spine producing consistent performances and, sorry, but we are nowhere near that. I have called our team the 'Nottingham Forest Premier Eleven' ( previously called NFFC)

Hi all, I know this is a long shot but you never know. My last game at the city ground was 26/ 12/ 12, also Sean O'Driscoll's last game after beating Leeds 4-2! My kids have never been, we're travelling back for Xmas and my dad is a season pass holder but has only got two tickets. Anyone know anyone who can get me two more for the match against Man U? We're only there for a week and we either get to see forest or we finish off at Mansfield again! I believe in miracles!

Morning all,
Big, big game tonight. Really need those 3pts to move out of the bottom three and bring other teams down. Our league position is not good but the hammers and Everton are in a far worse position on form. A draw would be ok but we need a win on the road.
Just wondering how the squad selection works with Scarpa, how does he get into the 25? Are we allowed a bigger squad in the window?

I think it will be a nervy game for both teams tonight as neither can afford to lose, we have been poor away so this would be a great opportunity to put that right against another struggling side. Come on Forest.

Bowie, been away for a long time, had a few personal things to sort out but checked in a couple of days ago and saw you were having some s**t at work. Real glad it's sorted for you! I know what it's like and often feel like you're on your own and helpless. Really happy for you.

Hi stokey, yep been looking too. Even though there were some odd results yesterday we still managed to stay in 13th and are still 5 points clear of 18th. Our form is far better than the teams below us and we still have plenty of home games to get the points (and a couple of away games to get a draw or two) . I reckon another 9/ 10 points should be enough, that would mean Southampton, leeds and WH getting 5 wins from their last 15 games. That's all they've got so far from 23.
Saying all that I think we'll be safe well before the last weekend. A point at WH and 3 at home to Everton will take us to 29. I think we'll finish with about 40 points.

I was at the spurs match against Marseille. Spence warmed up just in front of us before the match. We never saw him again for 90mins. Other subs warmed up, Spence stayed on the bench or in the changing room!
