Who are these 5 “Senior players” who Marinakis consulted before sacking Dyche? And was their only complaint that he made them run too much and were thus knackered?

You can guess at least 3 of them. What i do think is that it's disgusting. Its not the first time, I saw an interview with Yates about a year ago when he praised Marinakis for being available to the players. This is totally undermining the manager time and again. Forget whether it was right or wrong to sack Dyche the way marinakis goes about stuff is mind blowing. He does the same at Olympiacos firing managers impatiently.

The man coming on has had more clubs than Nick Faldo but the blessing is he speaks Portuguese lol. Beating Wolves would have been such a different story, not so much for keeping West ham at arms length but dragging Spurs right into the mire. Maybe our manager change will have an initial boost effect but if the players don't buy into then your toast.

Said similar below Rutland if he's going to talk to players then he should talk to Supporters, form a committee of players, supporters whoever is the coach at that moment and the owners rep. Yes ridiculous I know why bother with a coach just pick the team line up himself of course after talking to the players ? ? ?.

So if marinakis kept him and it carried on with results the he would have been slaughtered for keeping faith, he'd seen enough and reacted accordingly, but still not good enough?
