Danny Welbeck a confident striker wins the game for Brighton with a top class finish. We need a confident striker who can finish and shoot very quickly to get us out of this mess. Against teams of the quality of Wrexham it should have been shooting practice.

Unfortunately he's injured though Bowie and unlikely to feature much this season. A top class operator in the 18 yard box nevertheless.

Doesn't matter who you have up top if you don't play the ball into them to score from.

We have really missed Wood this season.

We could sign mbappe or Harland - wouldn't get a sniff with our midfield.

Our midfield hit row z, or put crosses in for the 6ft 4 defenders to easily deal with.

Solution is for midfielders not to hang on to ball too long (3 touches), get some width and put crosses / passes for the forwards to have a chance to latch on to.
