To anyone that's remotely interested I've made my peace with Perko so all good there, now I'm going to take a backseat with football altogether, as Mr Bowie says love them around ya, so I've given my season ticket to, a young man down the road and I will spend time with my lovely wife on a Saturday afternoon, who knows when one of us might not be there I can spend more time talking with her and the family instead of posting with one finger, witch takes me ages and upsetting some of you, I must say I have really enjoyed posting with most of you, it's been good fun especially you Bowie, but most on here will say that, you ARE probably the main stay on here mate, although I don't agree with everything you say . i'm quite sure there be some on here that'll be saying thank Christ for that, feck off as well. ?
Although I won't be at the city ground as much, I will never give up something that I've done for 74years and obviously that's supporting my beloved Nottingham Forest, they've given me all that a fan could ever wish for, I've probably seen more than these younger fans will ever see, hopefully maybe not. Going to be very hard to get used to not going to games, but I'm determined to do it.
Will then meet up with my other two mates in the pub next day and talk about the game and coronation st ??

I was just wondering how ya had the time of month at your age ?. Frustrations in life come and go my friend, but we always get over them as you well know . As this is a football banter site, dreamteam, I will give you my opinion.
I think we should do whatever necessary to stay up this season. We've waited so long that it is imperative we do. Short term pain as in high wages but long term gain.
I believe we will quickly establish ourselves as long as we stay up this year so bring em in if they can help us do so.
By the way, No1 in January 1985 was Foreigner, I wanna know what love is. It wasn't a song about football so maybe I shouldn't have said that.

I’d rather not sign woods either but it’s going to be difficult to find the golden gun in Jan, I think our best bet is to try and get goals throughout the team.
We might take a punt on someone and get lucky - we’re definitely due a bit on the striker front . If Davies weren’t injury prone he could probably the job that needs doing .

It was me that said about Chris Wood my personal opinion is he’s a journeyman nearing his last stop.
Had 2 good seasons at Leeds scoring a goal every two games but that was 6 years ago and personally I would prefer Sam Surridge as I think they are similar players but Sam is 7 years younger
I would not be happy with Chris Wood unless on a free as a squad player.

I’d’ve had Woods when he was at Millwall, i rated him then, but that was 10 years ago and he played with Darius Henderson at the time, so shows you how long ago it was. He scored a few for Leeds but has done nowt to shout about recently and he’s knocking on 33. So it’s a NO from me.
