My thoughts on last night. Everyone was pleased SC picked a team to attack and that they did. Slowly Burnley came into the game and our 2 in midfielders were then seemingly overrun. You could tell Burnley were likely to score soon and they did. Play changed in the second hall and was more 50/ 50. The Burnley centre backs were a good few inches taller than Tiawo, yet high balls kept on being thrown in with very few ending up causing the defence an issue. There was great wing play by us on both sides but a floated centre aimed at Tiawo was always cut out. The Burnley defence however was undone by a very worthy equaliser from HO, the likes of which we have not seen for many a year.
Conclusions re Man City I be am sure we will revert to a back 5 ( Tavares, Ainia, Worrall, Bolly? Felipe / Niakate. 4 in mid field and Elanga up front. The midfield 4, Yates Is a must as is MGW with HO and Mangala.

Disagree with MGW he should be dropped for the Man City game to make way for a stronger central midfield player he has been poor all season and shouldn't be an automatic choice.

I agree about MGW, might get his head right being dropped.

Agree bout MGW frustrating because we all know how good he is at times, needs more consistency n simple balls rather than the Hollywood pass all the time, he'll come good again I believe, maybe knackered from England games.

Joe n Mckenna must never play as a 2 again no pace and get done by balls between them and full backs.

Atmosphere not greatest last night if being honest very nervous and think that spilled onto the players.

Just saying what I saw, Worrall was outpaced and then ran in front of the goalie blocking his view, McKenna out done with any pace. MGW tries to do things like a Brazilian, but the one who could do it with out thinking, we sent him out on loan Scarpa!.
Never given a run in the team!.

Don't agree about MGW, he's pivotal to the team, the tactics and the Spirit of the side. Why he's being slagged off I cannot understand - remember when it happened to Yates, Worrall etc? Fickleness.

Pivotal to the team by not making a decent pass, does he score?. He needs dropping but SC won't because he's his man!.

Not slagging him mate, just saying he's got so much potential but not as much consistency. Agree he prob our best player, just show it more often

Aina looks more than decent n going a bit under the radar also.

Agree about Scarpa Barren but that’s Super Cooper’s favouritism for ya.

I was frustrated with MGW last night as well, his formed has dipped from last season, but he is a key player for us, with how the team is set up. Can't think of anyone else who could play as a 10. So he plays himself back to form or he has a break and we put another midfielder in.

The boy needs a rest, which I've already said
Man City perfect game to leave him out
We have the players to just frustrate city, no point trying to play football against them
Five at the back rest awomyi and elanga on the bench, play without a striker.

As regards Worrall?
You look at Burnley goal and yes you can blame it on montiel, but Worrall did make the move as covering defender and got sucked in and stiffed for pace
Love Joe but should have held back
Just saying.
