It amazes me a few games ago sl was the messiah our players were performing to the best of there ability and we were going up, were having a bit of a wobble like all teams do, now all our players are average at best and we need to spend a hatful of money in January, come on lads it's silly they haven't become bad players overnight just a dip in confidence.

RJ do you believe that we are strong enough? Few goals spread around the team and when the defence capitulates we do not score near enough particularly at home. Sabri is no messhia, maybe a half decent coach but he sure does dumbfound with his team selections. The fact he made no subs yesterday indicates something is amiss in the dressing room. At 0 - 4 he should have gone sh#t or bust, brought on lolley mir etc just to get a goal or two.

Rutland. He didn't bring any subs on because three wouldn't have been enough. The whole eleven wanted changing. He kept them all on as a gesture. It put more emphasis on the players poor performance.
It was a pathetically inept performance. No bottle. No effort. No aggression. As bad as i have ever seen in many many years.

It's only been the usual suspects getting carried away and banging the promotion drum Red James.
Allthough extremely happy with results in general I've felt all season that we've been winging it in a lot of games.
Some of the performances (even when winning) have been awful, bordering on embarrassing at times but a sound defense and nicking the odd goal on the break have been papering over the cracks.
This team and the tactics employed are not and have never been good enough for promotion.
When was the last time you saw a defensive counter attacking team promoted to the premier league?
Almost every team that succeeds is comfortable in possession, building pressure and scoring goals at will.
I'll leave it at that now before those usual suspects come on to tell me to stop going to the city ground and take up knitting.

I agree red fred. I don't understand why we just back off into our own half when not in possession. We give teams all the time and space they could ever wish gor every game.

I don't get the emphasis on goals personally if we won 46 games 1-0 nobody would be bothered it's worked well till now or we wouldn't of been so high in the table, is this squad ready for the premier league is the bigger question and we all know the answer we don't have the spine to survive buying a new 11 after winning promotion rarely works you need to keep the same spine and add too it so do we really want promotion this season?
