Think I put Maduke by error…we must be patient tomorrow, it could be a frustrating day. In theory its a good time to play them.

A question for you all especially for you stokey as you travel a lot for home games. What is the definition of a true Red? I ask because up until I got married I'd go to every home game and quite a few away games. I was chatting to the boss of the haulage firm I was working for about forest ( he was a season ticket holder) he said I wasn't a true Red as I didn't follow forest home and away.
My reply was I drove his truck Monday to Friday and he didn't pay me enough as I had a wife and family to provide for. That was a long time ago but I still haven't forgiven him because it doesn't matter if you go to the games, you can still be 100 pr cent a RED. Just my take.

Of course why are you asking you live your life around your nearest and dearest and the club you support comes into that and things can change in your life but you will always be a RED??.

Answered it yourself my good friend, for me it just where the heart is , money just f kn stinks. In the premiership. myself vale. Had to take early retirement. miss the banter. but far from rich. Just got to follow your own sense of the badge.
and oi, never ever look towards giving yourself a hard time, a true red just knows, never beat yourself on bullying. Enough with VAR, linesman, refs. Without fans pulling ya down. Be proud bud ?.

Thanks jester and Bowie, it's been niggling me for over 40years. now I'm retired I can afford a season ticket but not to away games. that old sod insisted you were only a true Red if you went home and away every game no matter what day of the week it was
. cheers lads and for my penny's worth it's a win tomorrow.

Vale, mate, it’s what in your heart.
I wasn’t always able to go to every home game both because of family commitments and also because of the nature of my job. My whole career in the Police was front line shift work which included a good proportion of match days. I retired in 2009 which made it much easier ( though I did work 9 to 5 for Staffordshire Public Analysts Dept then Tesco during Covid which included some evenings.
So it’s only in the past few years I’ve been able to go for the season ticket.
But, like all true love, absence (due to work and University when I was away at Uni in Wales for 3 years) makes the heart grow fonder. I can tell you are a real Red and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise my friend ???????.
