ED001 hope your doing well my friend, been chatting to balloons ? off the site. He's been saying he couldn't get a lot of his views over on here. Hence leaving, don't get me wrong i know he bleated on about my good looks young man. But that's something we have to live with. ? nah but can ya tell me what happened?

That should work both ways with the digs ed1 and I think you would find that's just balloons sense of humour doesn't have a bad bone in his body and would imagine any one that would meet him would get on with him and enjoy his humour the same as they would jesters.

{Ed001's Note - it does work both ways, which is why so many of your posts don't get through. This is not face to face chats, there is no body language to read, so you can't speak the same online as you can in person and people forget that.}

Quite a lot of my well thought out posts stopped being posted and some were dumped in the discussion side which is a graveyard for posts. Certain posters were given cart Blanche to ridicule me but when I replied they didn’t go up. Hence I don’t post as much as I used to….

{Ed001's Note - and this kind of post just causes trouble and is utter crap. No one was given carte blanche to ridicule anyone. And if the discussion side is a graveyard, that is up to you lot to make the effort to read and reply on there to get it going.}

I agree ed1 and move on if some of my posts are not posted but there have been times where I've posted not nasty replys and they still haven't got on so can understand why balloons doesn't post anymore and why jester doesn't either and also why carlo isn't posting a lot just lately.

And again I wasn't being nasty in my reply to you but you've seemed to of took it personal I don't want to post anything I want I go by your rules it's your sight but I do expect to be able to comment back to a post that I've been mentioned in and be able to have a opinion or what's the point of calling it a banter site.

I am just saying that if people just want to have everything they say posted, there is twatter for that. There is a reason we have editors to filter posts, because otherwise it just descends into nastiness and namecalling as people assume the worst far too often, as you just did. Without facial expressions and body language to look at, it is very easy to misread pure text.}

Will leave it at that Ed I appreciate what all you eds do I've enjoyed this site now for 10 years and I don't go on any other site I've made a few good friends on here and as I say really appreciate all the hard work you eds put in to keep it going.

Ed's I agree with you completely. Misreading of messages causes relationships to end, so I only ask people one thing. Please re read you post before you reply. Is there anything there that could be misinterpreted? Sadly we do live in a precious world and have to account for people's feelings. So if we stick to football and Forest, we should only disagree on owners, managers, players, tactics, referees, VAR, money, WFCG, sponsors, tickets. Plenty to be going on with. ?.

Ed001, the other day I posted on discussion site, but it went on banter. Could be me, I'm getting on, but I'm sure I pressed discussion.
Thanks Ed's, I've had a few posts not posted, and looking back I'm thankful they did not go up. Here's a tip, hide your phone turn of computer before having a night cap!.

{Ed001's Note - the editors decide where they go because we used to find people would post stuff in completely the wrong place. Discussion usually is for stuff that we think deserves to be seen for longer, as posts stay on the page longer but on this site we have had to change that due to all the arguments. What we try and do (when we remember which site we are currently editing, which can be difficult with 70+) is put the more negative stuff on discussion and positive on banter. The thinking being that moaning and negativity can make banter seem less fun. It wasn't about putting one side on a graveyard or anything like that, just about trying to keep this page more of a banter page than an argument. That was the idea anyway. Not sure it has worked but we had to try something as it gets so angry on here at times.}

Fair play Ed001, if all you want to do is repeatedly make the same moaning point for a whole season, that isn't banter. Let the discussion happen elsewhere. Makes total sense to me.

{Ed001's Note - that is the idea. I get that when the team loses people want to moan, it is only natural but it is not banter. Most sites we put those posts on a different page now anyway, usually we have a specialist match post page so that if their team loses people can have a good moan without destroying the banter.}
