The rumours already circling in Greece that Marinakis is looking for a replacement for MON if it's true I just hope McGovern or Clark have no involvement as they did with MON and Pearce and Warbo, I know they mean well but football has moved on so hopefully they'll be shown the door as well. we really need to move on from the past,
at the beginning of the season I thought we had, I'm not saying it was champagne football but you could see we were improving. Then for what ever reason we changed direction and went back to the past with MON and don't get me wrong I hoped and prayed it would work but it hasn't. let's not forget the past but dream of better times ahead.

D_R, I could well be wrong but i think McGovern and Clark do not that much of a input in new managers.

Warburton did not work out, but was his record really that bad compared to Aitor's when you take into account Warburton had about £20m less to spend.

Warburton has been said to say he was brought in to build a young squad to grow together as a team.

Aitor came in spent a load more money and mostly bought in older more experienced players.

I do however agree we need a manager that wants the team to play a better brand of football.

Remember jurassic O'Neil was only a short term solution to a long term problem.
The team seemed to have lost or never had faith in his style of play and along with bizarre decisions it was only really a matter of time before his time was up.

Remember the warning, when we're winning MON's football is ok but when we're losing, oh dear.

RIE and Sutton.

On a serious note hopefully not a Greek Manager. 2Star god knows. Could be a rumour or the truth?

Seriously is this all a manager gets now 14 games. Can't remember complaints when we were robbed at WBA and Preston. We're obsessed with brand of football rather than winning. It doesn't matter if you play like Man City or Cardiff if you win. Wish fans would grow up and not keep spitting their dummies out when they don't get manager they want and realise that Rome wasn't built in a day just look at Norwich they wanted their man out last season and look where they are now.

Syred, You make me laugh, when your team do well against top teams,or look like deserving a win against another team why would you complain about the manager with any real venom.

You say it does not matter if you play like Man City or Cardiff if you are winning, well we are not winning.

I personally would give a Forest manager whose team playing the Man City way the benefit of the doubt to get things right for longer than his team playing the Cardiff way when Forest are losing, and not even looking like they deserve to win.

Althohgh Norwich were not doing that well considering they had been in the Premier league recently they were playing some decent football, do you really think Norwich would have stood by their manager had he got them playing Martins way?

One other point if you lot had been around in 1975 with social media our 2 Euro stars would never have existed. The legend that is Clough won only 3 out of his 17 games that season and football was dross. Thank God we didn't have social media then.

Syred you state fans are spitting their dummies out. Quite rightly so.
O'Neil couldn't get a tune out of a pitch fork.
I assume you're satisfied week in and out with his style of play etc?
He's 15 years too late.
I'd rather have Warburton in the saddle the Mr.Jurassic himself.
Who cares about Norwich?
It looks as if O'Neils is on borrowed time.

All I would say fawaz is "Jurassic" football got Cardiff three points last night its all about having the right blend in a squad for me.
Ours isn't suited to any type of football other than defensive, very few flair players

There has to be a mix of styles. Play football when you can and go long when you have to. Recent managers have had us keep the ball, for the sake of it or now look for the long pass more. You don't always need flair players, the pass always beat the man but you need options. If your team mates aren't moving, wanting the ball or looking for one-twos, doesn't matter how much flair you've got. It's a team game, play as a team. So MON, pick a team please and a winning one.👍

Ff, Is that why Cardiff are 18th in the Premier league, because Warnock has the right blend, maybe his coffee is, if he drinks it.

Last 6 games form table looks good 23rd with only Bolton below us.like has been mentioned that type of football is all well and good when you have a man who knows what he’s doing and can get results.warnock is a real example.nobody wanted him at Forest because of his football and him as a person yet some are ok with oneill.
Oneill has the right blend a couple of games into his reign what’s changed now?

Cardiff I think will survive LC and that's a great achievement on a very low budget and with players who I would say aren't of the usual premier standard.
Done a great job

Sutton remember when karanka first came?
We went to wolves away a beat them played hull following week and he then ditched half of them and went on a spending spree.
Chopped and changed couldn't score a goal never mind a win, short memory you have.
We know you don't like Martin and want him out just as you did warbo, wed get through even more managers with fans like you

17.) 18 Apr 2019
18 Apr 2019 12:06:06
Not often I agree with you Fff79, but you're dead right this time. Get a decent manager and stay with him even if it takes 2-3 years to get the team right. Trouble is MON has only given himself 18 months.

18.) 18 Apr 2019
18 Apr 2019 12:57:39
The owners had to make a decision quickly bsred and because of Martin's age hence the short contract,if they had sacked karanka as some would have you think they would have had a replacement waiting in the wings.
All I would say is that changing managers at xmas will always be a disaster in general,if change is to made it should be done at the seasons end,so much more time to get the right players in and try things out in friendlies and not in the championship.

I'm happy to help out with Sutton.
First we need to stop the Greekitis send DoF Mr Cannasignadecentplayeroppolou back home.
Reappoint AK to finish the job on the training ground
Sutton and I will sort out the recruitment from AK's list ( not the agents/owners list) and bin off the crocks.
We will sign at least 2 decent strikers so we can play 2 up top when required
46 game fixed term contract = Top six finish nailed on!
Simples

18 Apr 2019 20:41:25
Sounds like you have it sorted red,
What could possibly go wrong?
I'll tell you, first krankie would have more demands than the European union and then if things weren't going how he wanted he'd want more, until we would have to sack him ,just like Gibson had to at boro.
The man is a carbon copy of his mentor, but without the class as a manager

Ff779 On that basis OBE would never had got a gig?

Ego and Expectation Management is my life skill so Mr K just needed his tickling and not presenting him with players he did not want!

Remote owner hiring a lawyer to head up a football club is not a good combo. Lawyers cannot close deals just generally cock them up and then avoid taking responsibility when things go pear shape but still get paid and not sacked!

Nothing personal against our esteemed Chairman and Owner just a Lesson of Life.

OBE would not tolerate director interference on football matters and unfortunately despite the progress that has been mae off the pitch we do not yet have a A team at director level on the football side of the business If we had we would looking forward to the play offs with a manager who knew what it takes on the pitch to get promotion?

Red you so contradict yourself, think about it ,you are now blaming marinakis for your chosen one going walk about.
Not long ago you were reaping praise on the owners while your God was here, now it's all falling apart, because the same man who is Mr randall is useless?
While I don't disagree about Mr randall, hes been here from the start under three managers and wrote the most load of bull I've ever seen in an open letter and thank God he's not wrote another.

You can't compare 9BE it was a different era when managers ran the club, once the bowman ruling came in it changed football for good and not for the better.
It guaranteed big bucks to the players gave the players power and took the money out of the game.

OBE got players to play by offering incentives to succeed, they don't need a bonus nowadays they pick a fat wedge up even when they go on sick leave.
Most clubs now employ a coach who coaches the dofs signings.
Not saying it's right, and I don't agree with it but that's football at the top two levels nowadays.
Ps you said you were over karanka?
Clearly not.
