More new injury news. Henderson has taken a step backwards in his fight for fitness and Colback has been out with a concussion injury.
I remember that settled side that won the league all those years ago- we used hardly any players. I suppose when you’re winning you want to pay- when it looks difficult and you keep losing then it’s easy to hide behind a niggle or two. Yates apart, there’s just no character or leadership in this squad whatsoever.

Posted as much yesterday. The game was brutal a few years ago which led to rare to no long term injuries. Nowadays the poor sods are so fragile… which begs the question why do you need a medical team. Medical teams need customers. I remember one manager closing the medical room. Go home and come back when your fit. Oh and by the way your on sick leave with sick pay only. That might result in lesser injuries and players coming back quicker.
Oh and how many players are taken off as a precaution. Players 40 years ago played with injuries and knew that playing for the likes of Liverpool if you lost your place it was a struggle to get it back.

Players now to tensed up they full over when someone blows on them so if they ever get touched there out for 6 months as Roy Keane says babies babies perhaps if they didn't get paid when not playing they wouldn't be injured long.
