We hear a lot about Forest,s current crop of youngsters but when you look at their ages they are not so young.
They are not 17/18 but 20/22 and they should be much nearer the first team already but I think they are being held back by the older players in front of them ,a radical manager would have given them an opportunity much sooner ,without this chance they will go stale and not make the grade !
We could do much worse than persisting with our present older players and strike a better blend!

If you think some of the younger players have been held back and will go stale if not given a chance why do you not want them to be given a chance, could it be you are showing the same reasoning as the managers have by wanting success sooner rather than later.

We have waited a long for success already so why not wait longer still by going about it properly instead of trying to get success too quick and keep failing.

Somee younger players need to be eased into the side some need playing now.

Its a catch 22 Crafty, play the young players for the future?

I am sure the future will lie elsewhere. When a reasonable bid comes in they will be gone and we are back to square 1 and the manager (s) will be even greyer.

Best strategy would be to invest in finished products that can get us out of this league. More money will come from getting into the premiership.

COYR - Get your act together.
