Hardly a Judas. He said that over a year ago. You can't expect players to stay at Forest all their careers. Especially one as good as Murillo and especially when we've gone backwards and haven't progressed after last season. We seem to have got worse. He's better than a relegation battle anyway. Which is what we'll be in next season as well.

I am pleased but just pointing out the fact he thinks he's playing for a small club when he is just bang average along with the rest that jumped ship. Johnson and Elanga have done nothing when they were supposedly Star men just ended up bench warmers. Murillo would just be a bench warmer too at a top 6 club.

Larry he is not a Judas. He's proven himself and has attracted interest from bigger clubs. This is a normal progression for a good footballer. Given the current situation at Forest, I wouldn't hesitate to support any player in their development.

Allowing Kalimuendo to leave while not having secured a replacement is a risky strategy. Exposing a position and relying on only Jesus and Awonyi presents challenges.
I wonder if Edu will be leaving after this January transfer window after his woeful acquisitions?

Also Balloons, a little context of what he said. He said ‘when I joined I thought I’d stay a year etc’ So he was saying what he thought when he got the chance to play in the premier. The fact he recalled this during in an interview a year ago ( after he had been here a year and a half) doesn’t mean that’s what he thinks now.

And he signed a new 4 year deal after he said it in that interview.
I get what you say about Elanga and Johnson though.

When he was growing up and watching and dreaming about playing in the Premier League we weren't in it. So as he's never seen Nottingham Forest play in the top league then to him we are a small club. When compared to some of the clubs he mentioned like Liverpool, United and City we are a smaller club. Let's be realistic.
