Forget Klopp and Zidane who would never come and I suggest it’s likely the other two would know better. We have no idea who and why AP was appointed. Big M gave Nuno a 3 yr contract in the summer. This is not the action of a man aiming to sac Nuno a few weeks later. I think AP was appointed because he was available or they contacted all 4 of the above and all turned the club down. There is
blame for where we are laid at Big Ms door. As I said this is not what he wanted or intended. The results under Nuno laterally were poor, the humiliation being the West Ham ‘hammering’. Nuno cleverly maybe backed himself into a corner making criticisms about Big M public an absolute no no for Nuno. I suspect if we had an employee criticizing our leadership we would sac him. Who ever we subsequently appoint - likely a left wing European, no one except Edo and Mendes know - we will still sink into the abyss. Football is a game both inside and outside a football pitch. You cannot treat players as automatons and they respond to personal issues and managerial disputes. In my opinion the only person who could pull this side out of the mire, is currently managing a side in Denmark! But still has a house in Keyworth!
