Looking forward to next season with great optimism and excitement despite todays result because I would hope that only one of todays starting line up will start first game next season.

This is how I see our team next season

Darlow

Lichaz
Wilson
Hobbs
Cohen

Vaughan

Paterson
Reid
Lansbury

Plus two quality signings

That leaves bench/squad players
Osborn, Peltier, De Vries, Abdoun, McLaughlin, Derbyshire, Djebbour, Lascelles and Mackie.

I see all of this as realistic and with Psycho and his new backroom staff and everyone fit, who could fail to be excited!

Especially as Psycho will put together better than the above.

Let's look forward.

was at the game today with my young son and would like to say that the away support was absolutely fantastic, loud loyal and very humorous let's just hope phycos return can produce some performances that these great fans truly deserve. I know one thing for sure a fair few of the starting eleven will be moved on to the lower leagues to ply their trade because that's where they surely belong.
keep up the great work ED and heres too next season.
COYRs

{Ed034's Note - hope he enjoyed it pal and I cannot wait for next season to start

I don't think anyone can truly forsee the starting line up next season. Lascelles will be bid for in the summer and I think the club know that. However Wison and sadly Hobbs are injury prone and I doubt whether either will last a season. Similarly Vaughan and Reid great players but will not last a season. This is a time of reflection by the club and look at why leicester and burnley have been promoted. My view is their players are no better than ours. So the conclusion has to be getting a good manager and having a squad capable of stepping up if injuries happen which they will! If we can get a striker or two then maybe we will stand a chance. The next season we have to work for 46 matches with SP at the helm. By September we will know.

No fox, cox or hendo?
darlow and lacelles I think will be gone to help with ffp. I really like both players but we can get decent money and we can replace them. darlow is a 1st team regular but lacelles wouldn't be in the starting line-up if hobbs and wilson were fit, so he is a bit of a expensive player to be on the bench. I hope to see cohen in a more advanced roll next season.
i would love to be a fly on the wall on th 1st of july in the first meeting with players and pearce.

{Ed034's Note - lascelles only just signed a new contract. If he, darlow or any others go, we at least know it'll be for proper money and we have an owner who will re-invest it

Leicester and Burnley had comparatively small squads they were fortunate in the fact that they had very few injuries and were able to field a unchanged side more often than not, yes a large squad is good but not as good as a settled side which both had the luxury of

This is another thing that fawaz has done that makes me think he is the man. getting the players tied up so we don't lose out like we normally do. if we get decent offers 4+million I would be taking it, with ffp coming in in december we could do with the money. if a prem clubs wants them they will get them regardless of contract length and we are in the driving seat to demand good money.

6.) 26 Apr 2014
I think that FFP will have great difficulty being implemented there are too many clubs waiting to challenge it in court as restrictive to business' in my opinion we will see it gradually withdrawn at least in it's present state as being unworkable

Agree with initial poster "Ureds".

If we avoid injuries, I only think an out and out striker is needed. A number of poor/average players on big contracts are out of contract soon so I can only be optimistic.

Not sure why but cannot stand the Reading manager so hope Brighton get last play off place

I just can't wait to see how SP sets the team up next season and what sort of players we look at in the summer.
What's your views chaps?
I have a feeling we will get some real pace into the side with 1quality goal scorer but will probably be somebody we have not heard of or lower league players.
