Some negative posts today. I think the performance today was better than any last season and we won most weeks. The link up play between defence and attack was good. This was because Lingard, MGW and Johnson made themselves available with good movement. Yates and O’brien, held there own and Worrall redeemed himself after last week. We out played, out fought and looked hungrier than spurs. They parked the bus and hit us on the break and stalled for time after 60 mins. Spurs were 2nd best in all depts but 1! That was the striker department. They had Kane we had? Wait……. we had no striker simple ?‍♂️.

We had no striker because we played mgw Johnson and lingard simple.

I didn't expect us to win today, and we probably won't on Wednesday either. But there is no doubt that the squad and team are improving quickly over all areas of the pitch. We played some great football today but there is still room for improvement at this level and Cooper knows it. We are building and playing to stay up. Tactically and on he pitch we frightened Spurs today, so for us to do that to a top four team bodes very well for the season.

seems to me yates gets so many chances and wastes everyone, he always gets underneath the ball, give them extra training to shoot at the target not the moon.
