If we bid the same as Tottenham, it's up to the player where he goes. Don't know why people assume he will automatically choose a team when he is practically guaranteed first team football at a club he loves, with a boss and fans he loves.
We can afford £20M now. He will be worth more than that by the end of next season so it isn't a waste of money. That's what I think.
