One thing I would say us that although Murphy has been bought in, the last signing and the interest in ferreya has vrentroz written all over it.
Marinakis needs to get rid of him quickly.

To be fair, Forest need another option at centre-forward. Unfortunately, having missed the deadline, we're now scraping the bargain bucket. As long as it's not an offer of big wages, or a 3-year deal he may be worth a go.

1-year deal til the end of the season on modest wages would be fine, imo. The guy's got pedigree, just not recently. And I think he'll probably struggle with the physicallity of the chamipionship, too, but he could be worth a punt. I think Swan and Taylor (Dale) are probably a year or two off first team football.

Sutty mate all that's required is a change of tactics with two up top or 3 up with two out wider.
Neither Taylor grabban or silva can hold the ball up so play to their strengths or move the midfielders 20 yards further forward to support the lone ranger.
Keep bringing in a new team every window is not the answer.

I agree, mate, I'd love to see a change but I don't think its likely with CH in charge. Forgot about Silva as a third striker, tbh, but pretty sure he'll mainly be used out wide.

Silva is more of a wide forward/ winger anyway, I think. A player who scores headers might be useful, though.

Agree cyclist but he hasn't played for four months so will lack fitness and we need to improve vastly on crosses into the box.
To me two thirds of the signings are last minute cross your fingers and hope they come good signings.
Best policy is 3 or four coming in that are quality and in positions where we need strengthening, not buying or loaning for the sake of it.
The amount of unfit players we sign is a worrying trend.

We can’t afford the other option ff79 - it really is as simple as that, the type of player you talk about would interest prem sides and even teams abroad. Players use us as a stepping stone back into football either due to injury, poor form or fall outs with coaches/ managers at their clubs. We can’t attract quality players so have to take the gamble- unfortunately we haven’t had many bets come in 🤷🏻‍♂️.

We just keep going down the same road though 2 tone
Remember stokovic, perquis, dimitru, bendtner, traore, lam l from the montanier days?
We are still doing the same thing, you can't be successful turning over a whole team plus every 12 months, while rejecting the academy players because we are struggling for results.
There is no plan with this type of recruitment 5 loans that is always a bad thing as you build nothing.
We could have signed good up and coming players like we did with Assombalonga and Antonio with good profit in selling them on but we go out and buy colbacks, Jenkinson, arter, who earns 38k a week with Jenkinson and colback on 25k, we simply waste money and those players aren't the type to bring success.

Guys. we don't need anymore signings. The best signings we didn't make are still with us albeit til crimbo at least so let's run with what we've got and see what happens in the next 3/ 4/ 5 games and how these games play out with respect to selection? formation? tactics? and results? Free agent players are free at this stage of the window because of one reason and "barge poles" spring to mind!
Mill cafe and FTiD.

Looks like Ferreya is going elsewhere in any case. Done well to avoid this one (apparently didn’t like the physicality of the English game) if we were ever interested in him anyway. Looking at his record I fear that we probably were!
