So the rumour is chronicle live say Forest are asking £600K. Hopefully not true. If Gabriel breaks into the first team he will be worth £2M at least by the end of the season. We have just allegedly bid £2Moursleves for a young full back with championship experience.
If we don't develop these players and give them first team chances they will go for less than they are worth. That's my take on it.
Could we get a better player for £600K plus their wages versus Gabriel's? With more potential? I doubt it.

Well if we sell Gabriel then who exactly do we have left at the club to play at right-back?
At this rate, we will be starting the season with Jayden Richardson playing LB and RB at the same time. He is fairly quick, but I doubt he can pull that off.

Personally, I wouldn't mind having Gabriel and Richardson as our two right-backs this season, give them both a chance to prove themselves. The competition might bring the best out in each other.

I'm with you on that Wonky. One of them, hopefully both, will likely come good.
If we want to do a Brentford then we have to increase players value by playing them. Selling BEFORE they have proven themselves at this level is short-changing our own club.
