Man Utd want Braut Haaland, his agent Mino Raiola wants £12m for himself on top of the fee Utd would have to pay to the nineteen year olds club Red Bull Salzburg. There needs to be a cap on agents fees, indeed there needs to be something done about the whole transfer system.

Yep. a greed.

I think Raiola is also the agent for Pogba.

I can see only one way to stop this sort of thing going on because the football authorities will never do anything.
That is for us supporters to stop going and also to stop paying to watch it on tv.
And that isn't going to happen is it.

No it is not, those that are in charge of football are there to look after football clubs best interests including grass roots football, and to promote the game overall as well as each of the clubs owners but the way things are going the size of the football league is going to shrink big time in the very near future. I hope i'm wrong though.

I can see a time when there will only be two professional leagues!

Fifa could easily say clubs are not allowed to agents it as to be the player that pays their own agents but feel whatever they do they will find a way round it to get their cut.

Supporters will never stop going but they will stop going as much or investing as much, we had a discussion at work about football in general and the general consensus was that nobody enjoyed the game any where near the amount they did in the past - I’m late 40’s and the times I had in my teens and twenties were so much better than now. Kids jump ship and change clubs every year the loyalty side of the game will fizzle out.

I've never stopped enjoying the game 2 tone and probably never will.
What's changed the most is the speed of the game and the loss of a team of local heroes to a foreign legion of players, defending has got harder and strikers have it easier with rule changes and no tackling from behind or going in hard.
It's a case of adapting to watching football in different eras it was never going to stand still and it's always easier to enjoy if your team is successful.
I was honoured to see a good forest side in 66/ 67 followed by many barren years then along came Brian and Peter and it was easy to enjoy.
Weve had the Frank Clark side to enjoy for a couple of seasons a Dave Bassett side for a season and Paul hart side for a season then Billy's first coming, then it's been barren since, but hand on heart all in all the football club has given me more pleasure than disappointment and owes me nothing and I'm grateful as a Clifton lad thati supported my local team.

Wow I’m impressed ff79 - 100% truthful here I reckon I enjoy my football about half as much as I have in the past. Could be down to the fact that my ‘town’ team has. gone through rough times as well as my league team but hey ho come on you reds! Up the poppies and coyr ⚽️.

Just imagine if sky was to cut what it pays to have football on tv clubs would be screwed players would have to play for less stupid amounts they'd have to join the real world and surely its down to the players to choose whether or not they have agents.

There is nothing wrong with players having agents, there has not been a middle ground, at one time clubs held the power now it is players agents that hold the power.
