Anyway, after a busy day I said to my wife "I don't know whether I'm coming or going".
She said " You must be going because when you're coming you look like an effing stroke victim trying to whistle! " ??
When I retired as a plasterer I was given a silver trowel inscribed "For Surfaces rendered"! ☺️☺️.
Finally, I gave a workman I hired a long list of jobs I wanted doing. When he'd finished I looked at the list and saw he'd only done jobs 1, 3, 5 and 7. Turned out he only did odd jobs!
