After the first round of premier league fixtures
I'd say the bottom five stick out already
West ham
Leeds
Everton
Burnley
Brentford they'll all need players in sharp or they'll all be anchored to the bottom at Xmas
Everton last night didn't have a shot on target and just look like a bunch of bruisers, Terrible game to watch.

I agree, last night's game was ugly to say the least. Everton not really a threat, with some players looking lazy! Gana was that bad he should have been substituted! As for VAR, yet another very dodgy decision imo! The Brentford handball was more obvious and should have been a pen for the Reds! Inconsistency again! Or a need to go to Specsavers ?.

Last nights game was terrible mate, what did you make of the penalty? Very harsh imo but end of the day leeds were the better side (but only slightly) ?.

And adding to that my bottom three.
18.West Ham
19.Brentford
20.Burnley
???.

I’d agree but would substitute Wolves for Leeds.

In the words of many top coaches there's no easy games in the Premier let's get to January still near the top and I'll know how good we really are. The new player's will be bedded in the African players will be away and we will be looking forward to a successful European run and I won't be bothered who's in the bottom 5 ??.

Wolves will be fine
Wasn't a pen as it was that high up his arm abd the deflection made it difficult to get out of the way
Was it deliberate is supposed to be the question?
Answer is not for me and neither side would have scored any other way.

In what do you base that statement DTP they were awful against Man Coty.
19 Aug 2025 13:08:35
Because most sided will look awful against city, they have money to spend and are doing so, they will be bottom half but not relegation fodder.
19 Aug 2025 14:18:25
We will agree to disagree on that then?.
19 Aug 2025 15:11:44
Sunderland will be down there aswell.
19 Aug 2025 16:00:15
There's usually a couple of surprises either way, us and Bournemouth and down there Spiurs and United last season, who knows Sunderland could be one this season. We have to become a boring top 6 team ????.

You could be right jester
I base my views on moving forward as a club and buying wisely
West ham sold their pize asset to arsenal and have not invested for a few seasons for a club that gets 60k fans in the ground, sullivan always been tight and even from his Birmingham days never really invested to win, niw his mate gold has passed its just got worse, so i se west ham as relegation fodder with no investment
Burnley?
Already down as far as I'm concerned
Leeds? Need a few players especially a goalscorer, same as Everton
Brentford? Lost their best 3 players plus their manager very tough ask to stay up unless they spend
Sunderland? Beat a very poor west ham and will find most the rest of premier a different proposition
Wolves have a good coach and are recruiting wisely
The rest won't be facing a relegation battle, Bournemouth have an exceptionally good coach that will keep them safe and suprised he's still there tbh.
