Jesus in but 2 lbs out plus elanga sossa and jotta on their way, so my reckoning that's five of our squad out and only one in. So at the start of pre season training were minus 4. so much for extra players to take up the slack of prem and Euro league. going to be a long season.

MGW was a must keep imo, think he and Anderson will be stalwarts this season and will only get better. Jesus is a brilliant signing for the money and hopefully he adapts to the prem quickly. From what I've seen of him the similarities to Drogba from the press are spot on.
Just need to strengthen at fullback and replace Elenga (if he goes) but all in all its looking like Mr M has been spot on again. His new partnership with Textor at Botafogo with thr aim at development for youth from Brazil can only benefit us in the future.

Well let's hope so, I'm not being negative just the facts at the moment don't add up. I agree jusus is a exciting young player but if you can't supply the last ball to him he's going to be running around like a headless chicken.

Agree Red Vale to temper expectations on Igor Jesus and give him time to settle in, we have had false dawn's before with Carvalho, Scarpa and hope Morato has a better season!. If everything clicks and with the team spirit again, it will be another exciting season ??.

We also require a goal keeper or are we sticking with the Brazil? Even filling the empty spaces with quality would cost a fortune. as I've said before just because a player isn't good enough for the premier League, they could still do a job in the conference. the squad isn't going to be big enough.
