Lots of talk below about whether we should let Sangare go.
He played his best football since he joined in the last couple of matches but for me that still doesn't convince.
Example. Elanga. His finishing and decision making lacks somewhat but he is still very dangerous because of his pace and mobility.
Pace is paramount in the premier league and Sangare is lacking. He is ponderous.
Sangare is a poor man's Caicedo of Man Utd and I wouldn't pick him either.
My opinion so fire away.

Agree4 Disagree0

I agree all day long gazzi
Ain't got a goal in him either as he hardly crosses the half way line
The premier isn't for him imo.

He's no slower than Yates Gazzibaldi yet some of the posters saying get rid of him say Yates should be the in the starting line up!

Let's agree to disagree then.

I think he will be fine. Got a bit of class. See's a pass.

Let's hope so anyway.

You also have to take into account that we won't have him, aina, awoniyi for a month
At 27 and with a bad injury record, then surely best to sell?
Doesn't impress me at all and I do understand his illness, but doesn't fit our game plan either for me.

He's no better that Yates also Fred
Yet he cost 35 million to waltz around our back four at leisure
He's got a bit of class I agree, but he can look that in his own half playing simple passes
Time to move on from him or get him fitter?
But I doubt he can play any other way
Yates isn't the answer either, but sangare we could possibly get money for?
Not sure how much, certainly not what we paid, but anything to get someone more mobile would suit.

No better than Yates lol.
Really no point debating any further after that comment.

Let's see come xmas.

Time will tell. I can't see us continuing to be the team with the lowest possesion stats. To evolve and retain possesion more he fits the bill, there were times you could see that towards the end of the season.

As for Yates. Hopefully he will make contributions but not as a first team starter. We are evolving and hopefully will continue improving.

I think I've seen enough of Sangare in the short space of time since he's been fit to say that I think we should keep him. It's horses-for-courses - but you don't need pace in the DM role Gaz, just the ability to break up the opponent's play and pick out a precision forward pass to get an attack going. Sangare has that in him.

05 Jun 2025 15:01:43
Sangare should stay, simples, looked a decent player back end of the season, arguably our best midfielder in that time.
Plays with his head up.
???.

05 Jun 2025 15:02:21
Sangare no better than Yates? What isn't he better than Yates at?

They are different types of player. You can only be flexible if you have different types of player. Sangare will keep the ball better. Yates is a spoiler with a completely different style. Not sure what Yates is better at though.

Sangare has been injured and seriously ill and still looked good recently. Why sell him now when we need to have a deeper squad? Strange.

I know many forest fans not impressed with sangare, especially at what he cost, all I'm saying is I'd get rid as there are better players out there and I don't think he will stay fit enough and he will go to African nations
J7st not impressed by him at 35 million, looks way over priced.
