My belief is that many genuine Forest faithful would have said ending in a minor European competition is just not worth its while. All would have preferred a good run in the League or FA cup. We now have added another competition but to far flung places. If I am peeved we didn't make the champions league many others are and Big M especially. Already we are seeing Delap signing for Chelsea and we will be down the queue for the top players choices. I accept what will be will be and there is no going back. The 25/ 26 season will not be easy for us.

Totally agree, this competition wasn't in Mr Marinakis plans, any players coming in, will we hope have potential like Murillo and hit the ground running!.

Any player good enough to play Prem footy is good enough to play in this comp as two bottom half teams got to the final. That means anyone in the squad will be good enough. We just need a decent squad.
One of the problems some players have is not enough game time. Now we have this comp, 2 cups etc. we have enough opportunities to play (and develop) players like Abbott and run out squad players. There is no problem and if we don't do that well it is still great experience and game time. WIN, WIN!

??? wow doom and gloom. I've never heard so much rubbish in all my life as a forest fan. poxy European place my granddaughter just messaged me grandad can you get me a new forest top for my birthday in august. and grandad were in Europe. some of these fans have never seen games played in Europe or us in European competition we were lucky let the younger fans enjoy so they have memories and can moan about being in a poxy European competition like u old moaners just saying.

I agree with you Stellaboy, although I couldn't have put it as eloquently as you have.
Finishing 7th was disappointing in the end but it was also a fantastic achievement.
I've done my stint of following the Reds all over Europe so won't be travelling abroad again but I'm looking forward to watching it. I think we'll do well.

The only thing I don't like about the conference league, is we play Thursdays so not many Saturdays to look forward to as a card holder.

This was the first season in many years I didn't get to a game on a Saturday (tickets please) so won't hurt me. It would p1ss me off too, always playing Thurs if I was a season ticket holder, though.
But having moree competitive games is definitely a boon not a problem. How much fitter would Sangare and Taiwo been (among others) for the run in if they had played regularly earlier in the season?
