I feel bad about tomorrow. The fans deserve some pride from us and I doubt they’ll get it. We just aren’t up for it and it shows. The other managers have found Nuno out and our spirit has flagged. If it were a War we would need a total surprise, new tactics and new weapons which we lack. I’d like to think we could at least stop shipping goals.
Top ten finish is ok by me and a big improvement. Let’s look to next season now for a top five place.

I agree with all you say about tomorrow. CP have Eze Wharton and Mateta. Also a top goal keeper who should be playing for us, in Henderson. and we are away from home. We have MGW and Anderson, good players but not goal scorers compared the CP 2. If Nuno has his thinking cap on he will play 5 at the back and hope. The crunch for Nuno will be if Leicester beat us. Nuno has done very well but to have a bad run to the end of the season will not bode well for the next. Also we will not attract better players than we have currently.

Confidence has been knocked but look at how far Forest have come.
Nobody expected this position this season. it's a huge achievement.
If Forest can dust themselves down which I believe they can they will bounce back.

Don't really see what your getting at doc.
Sels has kept more clean sheets than Henderson. Wood has scored more than Mateta. Elanga, Hudson Odoi and Gibbs White have scored more than Eze and Yates has scored more than Wharton.
Yes they are in better current form but individually their players aren't outdoing ours.

Well it’s virtually impossible for us to finish outside the top 8 I’m happy with the season, of course it would be disappointing not to get champion’s league, , but who’d have thought we’d have been worried about the Chelsea, Newcastle, Liverpool, Man City, results, when last year we were more concerned about Burnley and Luton, we are battling against clubs with much bigger budgets, and still in there swinging, someone mentioned giving us some pride? I think they’ve done that all season, 2 wins and 2 draws from here would still get us very close.

FRED strangly enough mate palace aren’t in better league form than us, over the last 6 games they only taken 6 points to our 9 and conceded 14 goals, to our 8, I think their villa performance has stuck in peoples minds.

I think we are being unduly pessimistic on here.
Firstly, it’s not a case of our recent dip in form being because other managers have worked Nuno out. His tactics are common knowledge and well known from his Wolves days and before. He hasn’t changed and why would he, it works? The question is what can other managers do about it? If they attack we love that because of our counter attacking threat. If they defend, it’s at least a point each in theory.
We are failing because of individual errors and anxiety. I can’t think of any of our players who have reached such heights as we have achieved this season and mentally we seem to have the yips. Unlike the Liverpools, the Man City’s, the Arsenals etc who are used to it. Experience is everything. We are a bit awe struck to be still in there, like explorers in a new land.
Other teams coaches do what Everton, Fulham and Brentford have done, stay disciplined and patient then wait for the pressure to tell. No wonder Nuno always says we should go back to what’s worked for us this season and take each game as it comes. Be prepared to work hard, stay focused, one game at a time.
I’d take a draw tonight then exploit Leicester next weekend whilst Newcastle and Chelsea take points off each other. I think Palace will have their main focus on Wembley in 12 days time. They may well not start Mateta, Eze etc or if they do are they mentally going to risk themselves with less than a fortnight to recover before their big showcase game?
