Thinking about the City ground improvements and Bowie mentioning seeing the new Everton stadium, what I've reed about it is impressive. Four years in construction, square design ( not generic round), and part built over water, there's a thought ?. What ever Mr Marinakis desides, I just think putting extra foot traffic and vehicles on match days will cause major problems!.

Lotta fans knocking on the door waiting to get in mossy bud. Money is big M's main objective obviously.

It wouldn't have gone unotced to Mr M that the government seems very happy to contribute to the new man utd complex. Re generation was the term used by mizz Rainer, so what's good for the goose is good for the Gander. I can see toton back on the agenda. Mossyred is correct about the extra footfall and traffic around the city ground. I love the city ground but the premier League is moving fast, the majority of the clubs have or are looking into new developments.

Success is marinakis main aim Bowie
Money isn't a problem, it's the fact that all clubs face being restrained by ffp, so it becomes a must to increase capacity, which will cost him millions he won't get back.

Red Vale
Traffic?
There's plenty of other routes around Nottingham, why people try and drive around trent bridge on a match day beggars belief
We have buses trams and trains, leave the car at home Its cheaper for starters and most that leave early miss 10 mins of the gane purely to make a quick getaway
Pathetic tbh
No point in going if your priority us to leave ten minutes before time just to get home easier.

Totally agree with you DTP, just don't think the big man will settle for less than a 50, 000 stadium and the New foot bridge will help ease the congestion on lady bay bridge. don't think forest have paid NCC for the ground yet, still waiting on planning from rushcliffe cc. I believe it all hinges on that.

Brittania boat club has to be demolished, not sure we've come to an agreement yet with them red Vale.

Nottingham university are trying to get it listed. It's not been used
2023, don't see why they don't re build it closer to lady bay bridge there's plenty of space there.

If that happens then we will move from the city ground as the stand can't be built without it being demolished.
