Sorry for the non-footy post, but just wanted to update you all on my last charity case which I mentioned in a previous post.
My 90 year old ex-RAF client is having a specialist wash/ dry toilet fitted tomorrow with the funds I helped to raise for this. His long-suffering wife will no longer have to wash his poo off him with a watering can and a sponge.
Try to give something back to society if you can Reds.

Thanks for the comments chaps. His wife rang me earlier in tears of joy after the install saying that it would change their lives so much for the better.
That'll do! Onto the next case.

Whilst we're on the subject of 'giving back', I'd like to say a massive public thank you to McGovern. What a top man he is - not just for managing to get me a ticket for the Villa game (! ) but, seriously, for his fundraising efforts for teenagers with cancer which I've subsequently found out about.
Unlike me, blabbing-on about fundraising for charities way too much (in the hope of inspiring others to do the same), McGovern seems to be happy to go 'under the radar' in his fundraising and quietly gets on with helping others. Thank you Mick. A true Gentleman.
