Whenever I see Celtic ( giants in the Scottish Premiership) dismantled when they tear into European competition ( like last night v Dortmund) I'm always reminded of the bit in Douglas Adams brilliant "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy " where a the combined mighty space warships of the Vl'hurgs and G ' Guranii hurtle across the Universe to conquer the first planet they come across, which happens to be Earth.
"Unfortunately, due to a terrible miscalculation of scale, both war fleets are accidentally swallowed by a small dog". ????.

The Scots have had a few very good players but looking at their current squad, it's very poor quality.
That means the likes of Celtic who are pretty much all foreign, don't need to buy top class imports to win the league.
When it comes to European, they are shown up for what they are. dog food!.

I happen to like Celtic, however Dortmund were different gravy.

Your right skeggs but villa went out after sacking Gerrard and went for one of the best coaches and he's delivered from day one.

Best bit of business Villa did buying out Emery's contract at Villarreal. Gerrard was defiantly getting them relegated and they've never looked back since sacking him.

Makes you wonder if Arsenal would have won the premier already if they had stuck with Emery?. Like that he wears a shirt and tie on the touch line, must give an impression to the players "we are at work now".
