The last 3 wks Nuno has gone from hero to zero. After being complemented on subs today he is castigated by some. Not many would have predicted his starting 11. When was the last match we have started with a 442. A few years ago on this site people were clamoring for such a formation. I was in the Trent and thought they had played well. Trarore was their danger man but Morena kept him largely quiet. Awonyi played the best I have seen him play. His physique enabled him to hold of players where Wood couldn't. Anderson was superb, JWP I am sorry doesn't fit into our team, Yates as combative and irritating as ever, just down in skill. Dominguez didn't figure much.
Nuno then decided to go more attacking. I don't rate Elanga highly enough to keep him if Newcastle bid. CHB missed a good chance but he scored others. All the subs made little difference. The disappointing aspect of the game was the Fulham goal. Keeper making next to no saves ie we were weak. My belief is if you have two attacking full Backs you don't need two wingers.
The Murillo penalty I will look at. Mr Banks should never be involved in Forest games he always has been. When I saw he was on VAR I knew we would get a chance
I honestly don't think Nuno deserves any stick. I agree losing at home is bad but this is the Fulham team that beat Newcastle 3-1 and Newcastle today draw 1-1 with City
It's not doom and gloom and we move on.

A very good post Doc. I'm certainly not advocating 'doom and gloom', but as I've said honestly before I'm now starting to have some doubts about Nuno for the first time. To me, a lack of ambition in approaching a game like this at home speaks volumes.
Another worry that I've had for a while now is the lack of natural leaders we have on the pitch. Yates, our erstwhile captain, seems more intent on bickering with officials and the opposition players. MGW seems to have a good 'team-talk' at the start of a game and then concentrates on himself for the next 90 minutes. With all his faults, at least Worrall led the team properly on the pitch. I think that we're missing a similar character to him atm.

Legless stop being so negative or I'm going to kick your legs from underneath you ? you need to get all the players training with you mate up and down them mountains you'd soon whip em into shape.
