Anyway, back to the real business, Liverpool at Anfield Saturday. One of the so called "free hit" fixtures where we are not expected to get anything and we will have to play at our absolute best ( and the Scousers well below par) to even think about nicking a point.
I'm sure Ed 1 will have more input on this but I saw the game on Sky against Man Utd and agree with the Press that Arne Slots style is, in their words, more measured, more passing, slower in build up than Klopps. Less heavy metal more classical. Just as deadly though.
Nuno will have to decide whether he's going to shore up the defence with 3 centre backs and 2 wing backs which will meaning losing a midfielder.
With the absence of Boly I'd imagine he will try to match Liverpools 42 3 1, so I guess not much difference from the opening three fixtures in personnel or formation. I think possibly Yeats for Sanghere, perhaps Aina instead of Williams with the experience of Alex Moreno at left back? Also, more of a role for our new wingers Sosa and Da Silva Moreto on earlier for CHO and Elanga.
Either way, I think anything anything less than 3 goals in defeat will be something to build on in future fixtures as tough as this one realistically. But let's at least let them know they've been in a game COYR ??.

PMA? Ipswich gave them a game, we're more PL savvy and have a greater goal threat. Bring out the bus. COYR.

Roll on the next home match. It's on the Forest Web site. £250 +VAT for a seat on the Bibby Stockholm barge. Surly there nobody mug enough to fall for that. But than again ?
What a absolute joke and an embarrassment the whole thing is. I can hear the away fans songs now ????.

Balloons, me and wife stayed on a former Dutch prison barge moored in the Royal Victoria Docks in London. Formerly housed 148 illegal migrants floating in Amsterdam port. Called the Good Hotel and very nice it was too mate! ??.

Toton?
Have be built with a massive retail park otherwise wouldn't work
With the recession we'd be lucky to get other investors to join in and don't se enough available land to create such a monster of a development, Toton sidings will still remain, you've got the eyewash canal, plus the river erewash to contend with and then need to alter the A52 to accommodate it
Would make Evertons experience look easy.

Ipswich gave them a game?
It was championship against Liverpool and it was more of a cup tie scenario with Ipswich huffy and puffy but Liverpool were always in control
We might be more savvy, but first of all we need a clean sheet and I honestly don't see that no matter the opposition never mind Liverpool
Only way we can get a result is to flood midfield and maybe a false ten?
Or three at the back and leave Hudson and elanga out?
Just can't see nuno doing it though.
