When you all look in the crystal ball, do you really think nuno will be a success?
05 Sep 2024 00:24:29
No not at all 79, I’m bored of him already. No plan B, poor substitution choices, predictable line ups, same style of play every game, won’t start in form players when there are better choices to be had, lifeless in the technical area, no idea. And the atmosphere is as flat as a squashed hedgehog. If people are happy with 2 home draws what should really have been wins and an away 1-0 win against a Southampton side that will more than likely get relegated, then open your eyes, smell the coffee and refrain from being deluded enough to think we are doing okay. We are not!

Time will tell 79. Personally I don't really care. I want him to succeed for the sake of my club. But if he doesn't, Marinakas will move him on. So no amount of moaning or protesting with change anything. Fans no longer have any say in the clubs affairs. The days of a local fans club meeting at the pub in every town and village every week are long gone. It's a case of pay up and shut up and get what your given now days. ?.

Perko coopers gone mate we have nuno now ? what success do you want from nuno top 4 finish a trophy what success you talking about I expect a comfy mid table finish if that doesn't happen with the players he has now then he will be gone and I will be the first one to booooo him on his way but please after his first 3 games this season unbeaten just chill and enjoy.
05 Sep 2024 06:47:39
Perko the coach isn't responsible for players missing chances which is the reason we only won 1-0 at Southampton.
05 Sep 2024 08:14:09
I agree with balloons. We don't get a say but let's hope Nuno goes on a run of wins. He does need some home wins though or the atmosphere at the City Ground isn't likely to liven up any time soon. Great fans deserve something to enjopy.

It real depends on Mr M deams "Successful", but I think if we are bobbing around six from bottom at Christmas, with the players we have, he will pull the trigger. As for who the new manager will be, it may well depend on who Mendes has under contract?.
05 Sep 2024 09:10:01
He's got probably the best squad we've had for a while he will get a couple of months and I'm sure he will accept the sack If we are in the bottom 3 at that time so just chill. It's human nature to moan but ask yourself if your Messiah El Cooper was in position you would give him chance to shine ???.
05 Sep 2024 09:13:39
I agree with most of the above. Including you Balloons.
I want Nuno to do well because he's our manager but he doesn't inspire me one bit and I think he will be gone by Christmas.
As for the atmosphere being nothing like it was, Nuno isn't completely to blame for that but he is a big part of that. I've never seen a less inspirational coach.
05 Sep 2024 10:11:52
I don't understand the Nuno enthusiasm thing. What do you want him to do, start breaking dancing in the technical area.
Clough used to sit there in his green jumper arms folded 90% if the time. He never even got of his backside for an extra time/ Penalty shoot out either. He said ever he needed to before the game. Bob Paisley was the same. Two better managers I've never seen ?.
05 Sep 2024 10:24:35
It's just another stick for some to beat him with, balloons. Another excuse to dislike him and somehow use it as a justification for sacking him.
05 Sep 2024 10:45:29
We have a circus at butlins if you want the same entertainment as you did under the old Messiah ??.
05 Sep 2024 13:28:23
Exactly right, the enthusiasm thing is pure nonsense.
The last manager was hardly the life and soul of the party during the game and even the fist pumps at the end dried up having gone over a third of the season without a win!
05 Sep 2024 13:58:04
?? spot on red Fred.
05 Sep 2024 14:03:55
It's more about SC getting us out of the Championship, and the togetherness of Team and supporters getting us over the line, we even had a theme song, SC deserved his fist pumps✊✊.
05 Sep 2024 14:17:12
Togetherness of the team and fans most of the team that got us up from the championship got shipped out with the fans blessings as a few on here said not good enough for premier League so much for togetherness and that's exactly what should of happened with cooper instead of trying to make him into some sort of Messiah.
05 Sep 2024 18:18:12
Skegs the promotion team wasn’t good enough, I’d have kept garner, but where are all the others now, which prem clubs are they lighting up?
05 Sep 2024 18:44:50
What I'm saying Stevie his your all on about loyalty togetherness but only when it suits you last season when I mentioned cooper was not good enough I wasn't a forest fan now others are saying same things about nuno players visa versa fans are only loyal to one thing Nottingham forest.
05 Sep 2024 19:55:35
You don't get loyalty from owners to players or staff unless your successfully, the players will only stay loyal for a short period as they are only contracted for a few years, so no point talking loyalty as clubs soon want to offload players when it doesn't work out, just ask shelvey, turnerdennis, and all the rest that were soon surplus to requirement.
05 Sep 2024 20:06:17
I’m not on about anything of the sort skegs, nuno will be judged on results, cooper is long gone why are we still even talking about him,
05 Sep 2024 21:11:34
Anderson as I said in comments yesterday I for one will be one of the first to judge nuno on his results but at the minute he has them and the cooper thing has been mentioned a lot because of atmosphere togetherness loyalty which other posters have mentioned please catch up pal it's like watching a series and missing one of the episodes which obviously you have Stevie boy ?.
05 Sep 2024 21:32:03
Skegs it’s the same person mention cooper constantly, you,
05 Sep 2024 21:42:35
And as I said bloody predictive text.
06 Sep 2024 12:56:57
Your right balloons about the old time manager, when the game was in progress, all the player needed to do was look at the bench to know if they was in for it back in the changing room!. unfortunately today's players won't tolerate being shouted at in front of there team mates. Pep said Kalvin Phillips needed to lose some weight, internet exploded fat shaming, Pep "Apologised"?.
07 Sep 2024 04:36:05
Nuno came in and kept us up. By 10 points in reality. He's assembled a decent squad which should have won three from three if not for some ? finishing that really isn't his fault.
07 Sep 2024 07:48:08
Footballers are only loyal to money, DTP.
{Ed001's Note - that's unfair, Kyle Walker has been very loyal to all of his families....}
