Just watching a champions league game, one side awarded. Pen, what is all this s**t these days where everyone crowds around the pen spot, " guarding " it, and the other team jostling them trying to damage a bit of grass, pathetic, small minded children, I'm starting to go off this modern game,

It’s all the childish garbage that’s crept into the game, keepers collapsing to the floor to waste time after a perfectly simple catch, bringing subs on with 30 seconds of injury time left, players rolling around and beating the floor like old time wrestlers used to, when it’s clear there FA wrong with them, players chasing the ref when he’s awaiting verification of a VAR decision, team’s playing 50passes to get out out their own half, and the passing it back to their keeper, just drives me mad, people can think what they like if this statement, but cheating and diving multiplied dramatically with the influx m of foreign imports,

Unfortunately Vespa, the long-suffering and ripped-off fans in the stands are the ones whose loyalty has been betrayed. The inflated egos of owners, managers/ coaches and players have combined with their insatiable greed to create a toxic mix within our beloved sport.
This translates on the pitch to players constantly cheating. However, I do wonder how far this cheating and deceit inspired by greed goes up the 'food-chain' of football? I suspect to the very top.

Pollyard I agree but the foreign influx started the surge, and refs fall for the same cons, defenders falling over when facing their own goal when hardly touched, all the grabbing and pulling at corners, where it would be a foul anywhere else on the pitch but not in the penalty box, defenders shielding the ball out of play, blatant obstruction, not given, it’s endemic in the game.
