I've found my self agreeing with DTP recently, though I haven't posted for a while. Nailed it with his comments about Nkathia. Just thought I would add to it. Where we might need another quality striker is it really worth pushing out the boat in wages and fees over a player who has rarely played for Arsenal and a record of 38 goals in about 148 games, only 5 last term. He is only 5ft 9 and yes on YouTube highlights seems to have talent and quick feet he doesn't seem capable of leading the line. Where Forest have made some apparent astute purchases this one carries massive risks. Ok if he scored 20 goals a season his fee would be much higher but his wages for someone who has not forced his way into the team on a regular basis is unconvincing. Thankfully we still have Chris Wood who frankly has been sensational for us and I think will be again this season.

I don't think anyone knows what this owner will do next week can opinions but he seems to go off at a tangent latest rumour Jota is going to Olympiarcos is that because of Nketiahs wages and fee or the fact Pod3nce doesn't want to sign for them or is it PSR worries or is just crap, so have an opinion but don't make out you know what's going off??????.

The plan with jota was always to loan him out if we got sosa
Sosa was the top target jota just bought in in case sosa deal didn't go through.

Personally, I'd prefer it if we don't buy another striker like the ones we already have. If he is a different type to Wood and Awoniyi that's a good thing if you're the coach.

You can't rely on Wood's keeping us up and Awonyi is shall we say Fragile to say the least.
A Striker should of been a Priority not Winger's or a goalkeeper.
Also we seem to loan out player's to The Sister club and never utilise their attributes at Forest.

Goalkeeper the most important as a club like forest won't be able to afford a striker that nets 20 odd goals season and you need some serious quality all over the pitch to outscored teams in the premier.
Henderson and navas helped keep us up, sels has no composure and Miguel has only played 25 games in his career
Ivan toney is available, but no interest why?
Because he doesn't score enough in the premier and isn't the quickest?
One year left on his contract so no club wants to pay much of a fee and he'll probably want over 200k a week
That's why there's very little interest in him
Tough to find a striker of real quality.
