Not much to add to the previous very interesting and perceptive posts in here regarding yesterday.
My daughter, who is a physio, thinks Danillos injury is a fracture and dislocation of the ankle but stresses it's an educated guess from the photo which appeared before the screens went up. If right, it's 4 to 6 months out. If it's a more simple fracture 3 to 4.I wish the lad all the best, I think he has all the attributes to be a top class Premiership player and this season would be his breakthrough year. Very sad and such an innocuous challenge. Truly, a freak accident.
I thought a draw was a fair result, we had the best of the first half, the Cherries much improved in the second. I think their 3 subs on the hour boosted them energy wise and our changes on 73 minutes came too late to reverse it. We were hanging on for the last ten.
Sanghere looked the part and he and Yatesy got through a load of work. Sels didn't do much if anything wrong, Anoniyi has got to step up, we can't keep relying on a 33 year old striker to bear the load week on week. Woody did well though. MGW trying too hard atm and he's not yet in top gear. He seems to be trying the Hollywood ball every time. Boly was Man of the Match for me and nearly won it with that header. Murillo, like MGW, not at his peak atm. Perhaps the transfer window has unsettled them both. Anderson looked good when he came on as did Dominquez. Sousa might come in very useful when Elanga and CHO fade as the game goes on, as they did this time, as the second half wore on.
I think us and Bournemouth will end up middlish of the table, the game started brightly but they cancelled each other out in the end.
We might have nicked the one nil but for some comedy defending for that goal ( though I wasn't laughing I can assure you! ??).
As a few have remarked on here, a very quiet City Ground but its early days and this was, on the whole, a scrappy match with nit a lot to get worked up about.
We were lucky with the VAR. Set piece again and marginal decision.
I'd still like to see Murillo as part of a back 3 with Boly and the Serbinator with licence to step into the midfield and attack. Perhaps this will be Nunos away formation against the better teams where we won't get much possession.

Stokey, I think that's the worst Bournemouth performance I've seen in recent years. They were there for the taking but I'd of been happy with a scrappy 1-0 first game of the season win. But typical Forest we concede near the end and loose points, exactly the same as last season. I thought things would change this time around, they'd better or Big M won't hang around replacing Nuno. It was the first game of the season and hopefully we'll improve but to me it was a bang average performance. That's why the crowd was so quite, what was there to get excited about. Like I say first game, plenty room for improvement but definitely two points lost.

Agree about Boly and Murillo. Boly is consistently solid at this level and it seems a bit nuts to drop him because we have signed a "bigger" name. When you don't have a huge amount of Prem experience, players like Boly are really important if you ask me.
Time for the genius, winner Nuno to step up and show us all why he is the man to lead this side higher up the table. Still waiting.

We're conceding crosses to easily Boly and melonavic are my middle 2 but still bring in a loan for cover Murrillo LB with Aina has cover Toffs can leave on loan give the big goalie a go against Newcastle a few tweaks and we should be ok.

Murillo is a centre back, not a midfielder or a left back, you'll never see him play anywhere else but centre back.

murrillo is a left back and if he plays for Brazil ever he will play at LB that's my opinion and if he moves anywhere else he will be coached to a better standard anyway.

Actually Fred I was discussing Murillo with Skegs in the pub the other night and his nose for identifying a good player is second to none. We both agree with Jester. He has the speed and tackle to be a great full back but lacks in the air.
Give him a go there see how he gets on. You never know ?.

His eyesight and judgement is going slowly due to age. And overall football knowledge is limited. Murillo is never a left back.
