We need a top class centre forward who can run, head, shoot and put himself about and I don't mean of the sub standard type like Breraton and Adams. All the money we have spent on cut-price Brazilian and Portuguese players could be spent on a player of Dominic Solanke's ability or a centre forward perhaps slightly cheaper and not being pursued by the big boys in the PL - this is what a scouting team should be looking for. Without Solanke Bournemouth will be in big trouble this season - hope he's gone before we play them in a couple of weeks? COYR.

Hopefully that's the idea. Sign the cheaper players but then spend big on a striker. Dominic Solanke could be a good fit.

Doubtful solanke would want to come to Forest, even if we could afford him, which I think is also doubtful.

You have to ask yourself why a player would come to Forest of any repute, when for two successive seasons relegation has been perilously close. Nuno does not have a good reputation. Note - all players so far brought in are from far beyond our shores. Cynically they could be coming because of the salary negotiated by their agent. Anderson might be a good player for us but came as a result of a deal between two clubs trying to avoid FFP pint deductions. Even if Anderson is good, my Newcastle contact says like MGW he scores very few goals.
There is no doubt we need a striker and it’s the salary we offer him, that will get him to come here. I suspect several have bern contacted like Toney but turned us down as they thought we are going nowhere this season. However if we gave Toney £200, 000 a week that would change his mind!

Doc most of the players that played under nuno at wolves when he finished twice in top 8 came from overseas and as for nuno hasn't got a good reputation ask the forest players they've all said good things about nuno so can you explain the bad reputation thing a bit clearer cheers.

We've signed jota who can play anywhere along the front line and we also have elanga who can do the same
Awoniyi only cost 17 million and his goals have already repaid the club

Taking it slowly is the correct way to proceed with Awoniyi to give him the best chance of regaining full fitness
A fit awoniyi or even a half fit one is worth persevering with, after all we had a fit origi one 100k a week who did the business?
