Good news on Anderson, having a "Scan", Red Vale posted it was more "Tec" in the modern game?. Do we play the game on stilts or something today!, gone are the days when a man ran on the pitch with a aluminium bucket, slapped a ice cold sponge on the area injured, only to see the player jump up and continue the game.

Difficult call Cash v Neco. The Welshman was one of our most consistent performers last season. Cashy was in and out of the Villa team but I think was basically second choice. Also he didn’t make the Polish squad, a fairly mediocre one which didn’t get beyond the Group stages.
It’s only pre season so perhaps Neco is a bit rusty? A wing back role with 3 centre backs behind him might free him up to attack more. I think he’s better all round than in a four at the back.
When I’ve seen Cash play for Villa he’s a more solid defender than Neco and is more of a goal threat.
Anyway, he’s not for sale and I think if Neco can’t reproduce last seasons form he has severe competition from Aina and the new lad Moreira.

Of course the modern game is more tec minded, you only have to see when a player takes his shirt off and you see a black vest that counts the kilometres the player has run during the game. That technology wasn’t available 50 yrs ago. A training session back then was a walk down by the Trent and a kick about on the pitch’s by the rugby club, then a fag on the way back. And if you don’t believe me Vespa I used to drink with some of the forest team down at uriaheaps wine bar every Saturday night.

Stokey, I thought I'd seen Villa say Cash can find another club? I think his crossing and goal threat is better than Neco. West Ham and allegedly sniffing Neco, younger than Cash and could improve. 50/ 50 for me.
